i was told about this place by a friend whose judgement i trusted, and went by one day to check it out. i could not have been more impressed, a) even though it was the first place i checked out, b) even though i am a notorious comparison shopper, and c) even though i did not bring my wife along to check it out with me, i signed up on the spot. i have never regretted that i did. my child is happy, and is learning things everyday. school has been in session for only about 3 weeks at this point and his language and vocabulary skills are already noticeably expanding. his class size is small, there is structure and discipline provided, and i usually get notes from the teacher keeping me up to date on how my child's day went. my child is only 3.5 years old, and doesn't have the world's greatest attention span, but the way the day is broken up, i feel comfortable knowing that he is being taught at a level that is right for him. \r the best part is the reaction i get from telling people that as more

Hands down, best private school in utah! 9/18/2010

Kids Village is without a doubt the best private school in Utah! Finally a school put FUN back into learning! Our children get to learn in a fun, loving, safe environment with a caring staff that you will not find anywhere else. \r \r We have two boys with ADHD and one of them is on the autistic spectrum. Kids Village works closely with our family to make sure that all our needs are being met. The thing we loved most about Kid?s Village, when we first found them, was the fact that they had their workshops broken up into short rotating sections. That is such wonderful idea for children with ADD/ADHD. No more getting board in the classroom! Aside from the excellent curriculum Kids Village provides, we also love all the hands-on workshops they get to attend. Not only are my children performing above grade level, but they get to enjoy classes like a cooking class, a computer/ science lab, an art class, and a music class.\r \r We also put our two oldest children in public school for one semes more

Kids Village Is The Best Private School In Utah 12/7/2009

Kids Village is the best private school and preschool in Utah. Love, Magic and learning all meet in this innovative and creative atmosphere. They teach the kids skills that they will need for life, like cooking, music, history, science, art and much more. They have created a place for kids to feel safe and get ahead academically. I would recommend this school to anyone with kids ages preschool-3rd grade. more

Kids Village is ideal! 7/20/2009

This place is unbelievable! Its one of those rare experiences when your expectations are exceeded over and over. I can't say enough how much this school has done for my kids in terms of love of learning, personal growth, and emotional stability. The teachers are fantastic, the class sizes are ideal, and the curriculum is nothing but the best. My kids get personal attention in every aspect, and as a parent, I get 100% support as well. The staff is so flexible and accommodating, besides being genuinely invested in the kids themselves. Besides all this, the education at Kids Village is exactly what I would do if I home-schooled: besides the classic reading, writing, and math, there is science/technology, music, art, cooking, history and foreign language. All of these subjects are integrated into practical applications while simultaneously reinforcing life skills...almost like the concept of un-schooling. A unique atmosphere inspires learning and creativity - PURE EXCELLENCE! 9/9/2005

This school is one of a kind, catering to 2 year olds all the way through 2nd grade, as well as after school workshops for older children. The interior of this school is patterned after a quaint story book village, each classroom opens up to a "cobble" street, each classroom looking like an old European store-front, with a life-size reading/creativity tree in the center of the school for special reading and story time. Simply walking into Kid's Village inspires creativity. My son loves going to school here - he is currently a "Tater-Tot", the name for the 4-5 year old preschool class. He has a wonderful, very knowledgeable teacher, who encourages him through his strengths. He enjoys curriculum time, music & language time (Spanish and French), art time, science and computer time, and Math and cooking time.
