Kids & Me

Kids and Me is a great preschool. I was very worried about putting my son into preschool but he adjusted very well. He can't wait to go each morning and he absolutely loves his teacher. He's learning so much too! He comes home singing new songs, counting numbers, and saying the days of the week. I am very happy with Kids and Me! more

My children have attended Kids & Me for the last 3 years and I couldn't be happier. The teachers are very friendly and the facility is so kid friendly. The two story play house that takes up almost an entire wall is my favorite! The outside playground is awesome, too. I love that their are seperate classrooms for each age group so that the teachers can work with them on developmentally appropriate activities. They are also great with nap time and offering healthy snacks and lunch. I appreciate all that they have done for my kids. My son, who is now in Kindergarten, still loves to go back and see his old teacher when we go get his sister. I highly recommend them. more

I enrolled my son at Kids & Me in June of 2009 in the youngest 2 year-old class. He had stayed at home with me since being born and I was scared of the transition to him being in preschool for both of us, but I needed to return to work.\r I toured the facility, and within minutes, my son wandered off onto the AMAZING playground and started exploring and talking with other kids. \r This place is amazing. Not just the facilities (spectacular playground & inside area), but the teachers. Not to mention, Mike, the owner. Everyone there has made a positive impact on my son's life. He is happy, socialized, and learns important things every day.\r \r I feel blessed that my son is around these wonderful people every day. :o) more

I am so happy with Kids & Me. I was nervous to be leaving my 2 year old somewhere while I was at work but in no time I had no worries thanks to the awesome people there. They truly love the kids and the kids love them, my daughter always gives a hug to a teacher when she comes and goes... I know she is so well taken care of there, not just "babysat" but really cared for. Also, the preschool part of it is fantastic. It is amazing how much she has learned in the few months she has been there so far- they have her almost completely potty trained (she does better there than at home!), she can recite her alphabet, has learned so many songs and is just growing so much. I couldn't be happier with the staff and care she receives at Kids & Me. more

I enrolled my son here at the last second based upon the reviews I read here. The first week we were there I witnessed a teacher loudly berating a young child saying "You're naughty! We don't do that! I'm telling your mother! You're naughty!" The child stood there crying holding a blanket. Shortly after the mother of the child walked in and the teacher didn't say a word to her! Nothing!\r \r I brought it to the attention of Mike, the owner, who stated they have 3 to 4 "bad kids" there and sometimes the only way to get their attention is to talk to them like that. He went further to say, their parents know they talk to them that way as their parents do the same. He even stated he has some parents who tell him he can hit the kids (then he laughed... LAUGHED) and says "we could never do that-we are under a license". I didn't find it funny.\r \r I reported him to CCL as talking to a child in that manner is a violation of children's rights in the care system. I would never recommend this place more

I relocated to Redding last year, after physically looking and doing background checks on over 10 daycare facilities in Redding Kids and Me surpassed them all. I like the set up of this school and all of the teachers. They truly want to see your child succeed. I recommend this daycare facility, I know my son is well taken care of. It brings me peace of mind through out my day. Thanks to all at Kids and Me... more

This daycare is outstanding among child care in this area. They care about the children, they have set up a facility that proves they know what children want, and have incorporated that into their curriculum. They go out of their way to see to it that the children have a lifetime of good memories, as well as prepare the children for school. more
