I love going to the Kenwood drive-in and watching a movie the "old fashioned way". They play the new movies, just like other theaters but somehow it just seems like more fun when you're at the drive-in. The movies sound comes through your radio on a special channel and you just sit back and enjoy the show. One thing I don't like is that they will sometimes pair a really bad movie with the really popular one. But I guess you can't have it all. more

Drive-In theater 8/15/2005

Kenwood Drive-In Theater is one of the only, if not the only, drive-in movie theater in Louisville. It is located in the south end of Louisville (close to National Turnpike) on Southside Drive. They are open only during the summer. They offer a concession stand with all of your movie theater favorites. In order to hear the movie, you must tune your car radio to a certain station that they broadcast the movie soundtrack on. This is a great family experience. more
