Kennedy Violins

We purchased a 3/4 Kennedy G1 Violin as a Christmas present for our 11 year old daughter. She had just started taking violin lessons after learning to play both piano and guitar. We wanted to give her a high quality instrument so she could grow with it in her musical pursuits. The Kennedy G1 fit our needs exactly. Our daughter, her middle school orchestra teacher and private lesson instructor (a lifelong violin professional with the city orchestra) were more than impressed with the violin. The quality, sound and appearance if of a much more expensive instrument. Kennedy was very helpful in advising us during the purchase process, made sure the violin shipped on time to arrive from Santa and followed up to make sure we were happy. When it is time for our daughter to move up to a 4/4 we will definitely return to Kennedy Violin for our next purchase. more

Kennedy Violins provides a lovely venue for a piano recital. ALL is provided and set up for performance. Afterward, coffee and tea were made available as well as tables for refreshments. My students and parents loved it!! more

I have been extremely happy with the violin and service I received from Kennedy Violins. The violin is beautiful and is a dream to play. The professional setup placed the strings closer to the fingerboard which has made finger placement much easier. The correct curvature of the bridge has made bow placement on the strings easier and more fluid. My playing ability improved quickly once I began playing on my Carpini.\r \r I have also been very happy with the case, rosin, etc. The entire package gave me everything I needed to feel like a “real” musician.\r \r I wish the customer service my employees provide was as good as what I have received from Kennedy. I recently purchased a violin set (their pupil set) from their online store, and was very pleased with what I received. I did have an issue with my bow (it was bent a bit more than it should have been), but after three short emails, their superb support team was able to send me a replacement bow, and it arrived just days after it was sent. I purchased a Nicholas Gand violin outfit for my 10 year old daughter through their website. I was able to have all of my questions answered in a live chat with an associate. After my purchase I contacted Kennedy Violins two more times and they responded immediately, once to check the status of the shipment (they were able to send it out early for me), and then to request fine tuners (which arrived in two days). My daughters teacher (an Associate Concertmaster) approved this violin for her, and my daughter loves it. This outfit was the best package deal I found and I am very happy with my purchase. more
