Driving up Revere Beach Blvd and saw Kelly's, not a long line, thought i had heard of the place somewhere in my travels. Stashed my yankees hat under the car seat and headed in.

Missing Home 2/7/2003

I moved out of Massachusetts 3 years ago and there are many things I miss but at the top of the list is Kelly's! Sitting on the wall, watching the people cruise the strip and eating a carton of fries is the best memory I have from my high school days. The chowda is better than homemade and the onion rings are awesome. Go have some and think of those of us away from home! I really enjoyed the new resturant they built in Danvers it has a great location and a very cool atmosphere and just like all the kelly resturants I've been to they all have fast and dependable service even at 2:00 in the morning after the club it's the summer hot spot. REVERE is where it is at! 1/28/2003

Kelly's is great but I can 't seem to have the same feeling at the additions (Saugus and Natick). If you are gonna go to Kelly's it is a must to go to Revere. There is something about the seagulls swarming you for a french fry that makes it that much better. plus I have noticed the prices have dropped.... Always a plus. Have been going there for over 25 years...and the quality and size of there roast beef sandwiches can't be beat..and I was raised and went to school in Boston and now live in Dallas. Good but far from cheap 1/13/2003

The food is good, roast beef is piled high on the sandwiches and the seafood is pretty good too. The clam chowder is too thin and runny for my tastes, more like clams and potatoes in milk. This restaraunt hardly belongs in the cheap eats section tho, an average take out tab for my family of three (2 adults and a 9 yr old) runs $30-$40. Go there for the good food but don't expect a bargain. Pros: Good food, Plenty of parking Cons: Slow service, Not cheap more

Been going there for years.They built one in Saugus, but find the Revere Beach one has the original great food.Plus, you get the Atlantic Ocean view, for free. Pros: fast service, well prepared, generous portions Cons: no seating more

I liked the fish better 12/15/2002

I usually pick at the food. It's okay and fries are good but I'd rather just sit there in front of the salt water tank and watch the tropical fish for hours. I hope that's not where they get their fillet o' fish from. Pros: good food, good fish Cons: dining area dirty, hectic at times, help could care less more

The BEST fries 11/27/2002

I've been going to Kelley's for years and they definitely have the best french fries. Their chicken fingers are really good too. I don't usually get much more than that so I can't speak for the rest of the menu. I don't understand why, but Revere, seems to have better food than Saugus and Danvers. It just tastes different. No place better than Kelly's @ the beach 11/20/2002

I have been going to Kelly's since I was a teenager and I'm old now (56). It's the best ever and the food is great, has been, and probably always will be. Portions are worth the price(s) which are reasonable. I use Kelly's as a benchmark for other takeouts and restaurants. We always want to go to Kelly's! Clam chowder was not what I expected. It had a watery taste to it. The food is tooo much money. I spent $50.00 and I only got watery chowder, 2 roast beef and something else that did not stick out of my head. But the guys there are CUTTeeeee! more
