I love the burgers at keg south. They have a great grilled taste. Their servers though are rude. Rarely do they come back to the table and deal mostly with frat boys who go in there with bones and money for big tips. Understandable but come on... more

Ok....the place itself is not too shabby. Staff is prompt and the joint has a good vibe. I would not by any means classify it as a steakhouse in the traditional sense of the the word. More like a a neighborhood pub that happens to have steak on the menu. Huge Miami heat crowd in the house ..... If you like b-ball and beers it's the place to be, but not my bag personally. Ordered the conch fritters as an app and they were pretty shabby. Lots of filling and no flavor. Had the 1/2 point burger for dinner and it was damn tasty! End result is this is a spirited and Fun place to grab a few brews and possibly Some half way decent pub fare. more

Big, juicy burgers off the flattop with fresh cut thin fries. Excellent. Certified by Bass Ale as a "fair pint" establishment. A bunch of brews on tap but nothing out of the ordinary. more

If you can find this hidden jewel you're in for some really good "bar" food. We drove past the place a couple times before we found an entrance in the alley. It's a small bar with a cook & a bartender handling all the customers as the place gets packed. All worth it for the flame grilled wings we had. Crispy on the outside & juicy on the inside, these wings are some of the best in town. Nice greasy fries that get a healthy dose of salt sprinkled on them by the bartender. I was pleasantly surprised by how good the food was considering I was at a small hole in the wall bar. more

I have yet to find burger's like these anywhere else. These are great burgers. Juicy and bursting with taste. The Wings are also very good. The Fries leave something to be desired but you cant go wrong with there Burgers. more

Bad Time Travel 9/1/2008

I heard about this place from a few people telling me it was great so I had to try it. There was no real game on worth going there but I simply had to try these famous burgers. I decided to call in the order and pick it up. They told me 25 mins so I took my time. Once there though (25 mins later) my order had not gotten started. They rushed through the order overcooking my fries, running out of onion rings and undercooking the burgers. The place looks out of place, like a flash back of the 80's. It's cave like, dark and dingy. I guess some people like that but it wasn't worth it and I am not going back, no matter how much am craving a burger. I know there's not much else around to eat but that can't be our only criteria for a sports bar. more

Best Burgers for more than a Quarter Century 7/11/2006

My friends and I ate Keg South Burgers regularly during lunch breaks from Miami Palmetto Senior High during 1980 and 1981. They were by far the best burgers around then and still are to this day. If you haven't tried one, you don't know what you're missing. There is little else to say. more

Worth the Drive 2/28/2006

I've been going to Keg South of Kendall for several years now for lunch during the hectic work week as well as on weekends for a football game or after raquetball and I must say that it's always worth the drive. The food is awesome, the beer is cold, the service is always friendly (and then some when my ""Boy"" is working) and the prices are down to earth. Start off w/ some wings (fried), a pitcher of Heineken and a burger. Pros: Burgers, Beer, Service Cons: Location, Crowded Sundays more

I got news for everyone. This IS civilization, where the best burger in town is, right on an accesible, busy highway, and a stone's throw away from one of the most gorgeous malls in the USA, The Falls. These are, without a doubt, the best burgers around, time after time. Don't miss their real, fresh french fries, and an always cold pitcher of beer! Died & went to Burger Heaven 3/21/2005

After the LONGEST ride of my life I arrived and thought I died & went to Burger Heaven!!! Each & Every burger is EXCEPTIONAL. With or without cheese, they're ALL excellent. Service is always quick & friwendly. Wish they had someplace closer to downtown or the beaches. It's a HELLACIOUS ride but once you get there the food is MAGNIFICENT! No better burgers ANYWHERE in town!! Pros: Fab Food, BIG portions, Great service Cons: Out in the Boondocks! more
