KC's Caboose

We wont be back. The waitress was not only unconcerned with us a customer, she went so far as to tell us to leave. I heard another person ask about a possible negative review and she sneered at it. We've been there before. That particular waitress is not one that you go back for, but the food is usually good. Unfortunately, the wait this time tor that food extended into the next meal period. Add the wait to the bad attitude and raised voice yo my inquiry as to the status of my order, it was well beyond a horrible experience. more

i had food to-go. i told them i would be paying cash and they still needed my credit card. ok over that. they knew i was ordering to-go over the phone but they didn't mention that they were out of to-go utensils until i was ready to leave with the food. i ordered two country fried steaks, garden omelet, and TACO omelet. The day before their taco omelet was very good so i ordered it again but they decided to give me a western omelet. they kept saying i ordered a western omelet when my manager was sitting in front of me. also one country fried steak had gravy on it the second didn't have any on there but they charged me for the extra gravy i ordered. so i called back and all they said was sorry you had a bad experience. thank you for letting me know what a bad experience was. all the other places i thought i had a bad experience i was mistaken. this was truly the only bad experience i have had a mom and pops restaurant. more

We grew up in the Sumner/Puyallup area, but have since moved a couple hours away. I vividly remember having dinner at KC's during childhood, probably because they used to be in an actual caboose. Unfortunately, they had to move to their current location after a burglary and arson. During a regular family visit we had breakfast at KC's Caboose. The cheese and mushroom omelet was great. Not greasy. It was fluffly and tasty. Husband had the biscuits and gravy. He said it was one of the best in a long time. The owners and waitress were very friendly.
