K-9 Kampus

Without warning, our family was deep in a medical crisis. Our dogs needed a place of refuge where the stress of the crisis would not harm them. Trish and Tory Schadler and their staff at K-9 Kampus came to our aid when we needed it most. They kenneled our dogs even though we had no reservation. They went out of their way to buy food for our dogs because we had no time to get it ourselves. They worked with our veterinarian, The Country Doctor, to obtain the medications needed to manage our dogs' health. And they were prepared to find loving homes for our dogs had our medical crisis escalated. They provided the love, care and stability our pets so desperately needed, and for which we are so deeply thankful. They did all this without question, without reservation, and with warmth and kindness that exceeded words. The care, stability and understanding they gave our dogs and us went well beyond what anyone could hope to find. We recommend K-9 Kampus in the sincerest and most unreserved terms. Really nice place, staff is caring, place is clean and prices are best around. I had my great dane boarding there and his run was large enough. I highly recommend this place. more

We've had good experiences with this kennel. The staff have always been careful - including being very fussy about not letting a dog have any toy that has parts that may come apart and cause choking. During the summer, they fill up, so make reservations early. more

I have recently boarded my 16 year old at this facility. She came home happy and healthy. As a responsible pet owner I highly recommend this kennel. The kennel is very clean and the staff if very knowledgable and caring. more

I tink I'm a very reasonable person but this facility has changed drastically. I picked my dog up last week and he is so sick. The worst part about his is after taking him to the vet I was informed they were aware of a problem at the facility 5/6 weeks ago and my vet thought they were shut down to sanitize. My vet alone treated(and I quote) "a slew of dogs" for kennel cough. Upon contacting K9 Kampus a staff memeber told me all clients were notified and given the option of exposing their pets to this situation and that was not true, as I wasn't and never would have exposed my dog to it! The owner lied about it but after just getting off the phone with their insurance company, who admitted there are a bunch of sick dogs and the owner knew there was a problem, are making good on all claims!! I will never use that kennel again and hope that anyone reading this will reconsider. The fact that they would knowingly allow people to bring their beloved pets into that situation is a clear indication to avoid them! more

I just started boarding my dog there, they were great with my dog who has some special needs. Very clean facility, great staff. more

I've been using K9 Kampus for my dog since 2002. The owner and staff are always very friendly and kind, and they take great care of my pet. The owner is keenly involved in the kennel and takes a personal interest in all the pets that come in. My dog has always come home clean and healthy from a stay at K9. The kennel administers prescription medications as needed and respects any special instructions you have. Morning and evening drop-off/pick-up hours 7 days a week make it easy to fit your schedule. Playtimes can be purchased (weather permitting) so your dog gets some exercise playing with K9 Kampus staff. K9 Kampus also offers doggy daycare, grooming and dog training services. Even though it takes at least 30 minutes for me to get to K9 Kampus, I think it's always worth the extra drive to make sure she gets such wonderful care! more
