Warning!!! Don’t be fooled by endorsements of K & R Turf Farms. This guy is a first class cheat and liar. We contracted with them in early 2011 for lawn removal, Zoysia – Ultimate Flora sod and installation since he was the closet “licensed” grower of this particular sod to our location. He and his crew came and took the old lawn up and bagged it, leaving the bags for us to actually remove them to the dump. Our thought was that “removal” actually meant removing it from our property. After bagging, I asked for how much I should write the check and he gave me a figure that was almost double the agreed cost. However, being a generally trusting person, I figured I would apply the difference to the cost of the sod when it arrived. Well, that was the last we saw of Reggie and his crew. Three months later when pushing for sod delivery, he could not come up with the product. When I asked for a refund of the overpaid amount of removal, he argued about how much I had given him (until I sent a copy of the cancelled check) and then never produced the refund. He is being promoted and advertised as a grower but apparently has no farm and no means to grow and cut Zoysia himself. We were finally (and at the end of the cutting season) able to find a reputable grower and now have a green Zoysia lawn which would still be dirt and weeds if we had continued to rely on K & R Turf Farms.
