On 1/03/2012, At or around 10:30AM, I had taken my car to the ""Just Brakes"" located at 3347 E. Baseline Rd, Gilbert, AZ 85234. I approached the gentleman at the counter and inquired about potential services regarding my brakes. I explained, that the day prior they were making a grinding noise. However, today they're not grinding. The gentleman explained they had a complimentary service where they would take a look and give me a quote. I approved for the complimentary service check at no cost. A few moments later a gentleman by the name of Kelly Conklin called me over to the counter. He explained several things on my New vehicle were in dire need of replacement and to not do so would have severe consequences . Mr. Conklin then gave me a quote I was unable to afford at the time. I thank him for his time and suggested I would like to take it else where for a second Opinion and quote. Mr. Conklin became extremely hostile and stared raising his voice with great anger. He stated why did I bring my vehicle in, if I was not going to have it serviced and that I wasted his time. Startled, I asked him to please just return my vehicle, I just wanted to leave! Mr. Conklin, then raised a red flag, when he began asking me to just have the Brake pads replaced there and the ""other"" work could wait. I asked Mr. Conklin; "" Why did you say That I was at risk earlier if I did not have the work done , and now all I need are my brake pads changed?"" I asked him to please just return my car I wanted to leave. Mr. Conklin then called me and ""Idiot"". At this moment, I called a friend of mine Mario. I asked Mario if he could fix my brakes. I explained the situation I was in. Mario suggested that I leave that place right away. Mario Stated; ""He would take a look and fix my brakes"". Mr. Conklin then noted on the notes of my invoice; "" Customer wants to take his car to the mexicans down the road"". I feel labeling someone "" mexican"" based on their voice in a conversation you over heard on a call is very unethical. Not only was Mr. Conklin very unprofessional, when I suggested I was a customer and that there was no excuses for him to be treating me the way he was, he once again called myself and 'Idiot"". I replied; ""those aren't very good customer service skills"" Mr. Conklin, then told me to look in a mirror and said you have no customer service skills yourself. Puzzled, I walked away and called the 1-800 number listed on a poster for customer care. while on the phone with customer care Mr. Conklin was 15 ft away talking aloud about the situation and belittle myself with degrading slurs. After receiving my car, Mr. Conklin, parked my car with the Emergency braked on! Not noticing the brake was pulled full of outrage over the situation, I peeled out . Mr Conklin and his co-worker were standing off to the side laughing as I drove off. When I got to my friends Auto shop the first thing he noticed was my Mazda rim cap was missing. I feel it was purposely removed with ill intentions. I feel this establishment needs to be investigated unethical business practices
