Jupiter's is one of the newer places in the Champaign pizza game. The super thin crust is something that is quite different to the area. A unique choice of toppings also makes Jupiter's stand out. The larger number of pool tables in such a small place can make things a wee bit cramped at times. Jupiter's is an awesome place to go on a warm summer evening if you are there in time to get an outdoor seat. more

Good pizza, good bar 4/11/2006

Jupiter's is great. It's a pretty good sized bar so you don't feel cramped. They've got pool tables and dartboards and plenty of seating. The pizza, which is a thin crust style, is really great. They've got different types of toppings than the usual pizza joint. They've got different types of drinks than you might find in most bars (some specialty beers and wine). If things haven't changed, this bar was a 21 and up as opposed to the others which are 19 and up. The patrons here are more like 20 somethings or 30 somethings than crazy undergrads. The atmosphere is cool and casual. Great place. more

great pizza 9/22/2005

Jupiter's is a combination pool hall and pizza restaurant. The pizza is very good with a super thin crust and an usual variety of toppings. My favorites include the bbq chicken and margherita. It's great to get a bunch of personal size pizzas and share them all. They also have a great selection of beers on tap. more

Great pizza! 8/30/2005

This place is mostly a pool hall, with several pool tables so you can usually get one pretty quickly. It is also a full bar and on weekend evenings that is pretty much all it is. However, the pizza is great, particularly for Champaign. It is thin (cracker-like) crust and you can get anything from plain cheese, to artichokes, broccoli, or salmon. It is very reasonably priced and I have seen plenty of fathers and sons there together bonding on the weekend afternoons over pizza and pool. more
