Let's begin with me ordering a bridesmaid dress in February from Joni's Fashion. I came in to try on Alfred Angelo dresses to get an idea of what their sizing was like. I then proceeded to order my dress and PAY FOR IT IN FULL. I was informed the dress would be here in early May for my friend's June wedding. May 2nd rolls around and the bride informs me the other bridesmaid dresses have arrived. (The wedding is in Washington state and I live in Missouri) So I call Joni's Fashions to check the status of my dress. So begins the nightmare of poor customer service. Joni takes my name and number down and I get a call from her stating my dress is not there. Actually my dress was NEVER ordered at all...did I even make a deposit? UMMMM...I paid for my dress in full...why would I make a deposit? She also informs me she doesn't remember me at all because, and I quote, ""Honey I just had prom."" Really? So she gets the size, color and style again and proceeds to order the dress, telling me she has two seamstresses she works with and I should have the dress by May 26th. Really Joni? Are you going to pay for those alterations?..that would be a NO because and I quote, ""I don't pay for alterations."" So we go in physically on Monday the 9th to make sure the dress is ordered. Oh, it's been ordered but it shows it being shipped out on the 27th. Really Joni?..because you just promised it to my face on the 26th.\r

You can guess what happened next. I call Joni on the 26th and am told the dress will be in tomorrow..no wait June 1st. Joni offered no compensation for her mistake and became very indignant and rude. I guess it's tough luck for me since I paid for it in full in February. Personally, I want my money back. I wouldn't touch this store with a ten foot pole and you can be sure I will do everything I can to let everyone know what an awful experience I had. Stay away from this disaster. If I could rate this store with no stars, believe me I would.
