Best Empanadas, Ask for Johnny himself. He'll take care of you! 5/20/2008

It's hard not to love a place where the Owner will come to your table, sit down and genuinely show interest in you as a person, not to mention bending over backwards to make sure your meal is exactly what you ordered! The food and the management are second to none. I'm not able to frequent it as much as I would like to (I live in Santa Clarita) and about every week at least one of my kids starts whinning, "when can we go see Johnny Pacific Daddy.... and get some empanadas?" Fast and delicious food 3/21/2008

I'm a regular at this place, the food really is delicious. 4 empanadas is about $7.50, with lots of tasty sauces to go with each one. I recommend the pulled pork, chorizo and potato, and the flan dessert empanada. The owner, Johnny, is a really cool guy and gives great customer service. He is just a really nice guy, makes the experience pleasant. HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT, very small and unassuming, one of the Valley's BEST KEPT SECRETS. Give it a try, you won't regret it!! BEST i've EVER HAD!! 12/25/2007

after driving by the sign that states "Voted #1 Empenadas in LA" i could kick myself for not going sooner. I ordered up a combination of empenadas for a party, they were the topic of conversation!! Unbelievably good. i will have them at any party i ever have from now on. Also the owner was there, VERY friendly, helpful and accommodating. was a pleasure to be in there. customers eating there were telling me what to order, LOL. this place def has a huge following. Amazing food for not alot of money... 5/14/2006

Seriously, this is one of the BEST empanada places around! Awesome food along with awesome service made for a great experience! The owner is quite awesome as well keeping us entertained with insight on his specialty, as well as giving us suggestions on the food. Definitely will be making trips out to get more empanadas! I recently moved and was delighted to find a hidden treasure in Winnetka! Johnny Pacific has the BEST empanadas I've had anywhere. The service is outstanding and very personable. The ambience is simple and unpretentious, and the prices are very reasonable. more

Don't let the store front setting fool you because behind that exterior is some amazing food. I highly recommend any of the empanadas and sandwiches. I always have them cater our office parties and everyone raves about the food. Pros: Great Prices, Amazing Food more
