Just like Sonnalynn I, via my insurance agent and on the advice of an aquaintance, hired John and his company following the bursting of my water heater. His reponse time to take the job was immediate with all sorts of promises as to what would be done and how soon. In a rare cooincidence my insurance companies western representitive was in town and dropped by to look over the damage. The two men had worked together before and agreed on what needed to be done and that it wouldn't talke more than 4-6 weeks to complete. That was June 20th...they still haven't completed the job. I was accused of miro-managing when after 10 days of no work being done on my home had been done while I stayed in a hotel room! This work should have and did take only 3 days to complete. I was given excuse after excuse as to why a job wasn't finished all the while being called daily and asked by them (Johnny on the Spot) if the job was done or not. There is no project management done, no overseer, no comunication between their company and the subcontractors. You are literally left out in the middle to either wait until someone remembers you or you have to make the calls yourself. My insurance company also says they will no longer work with this company, cancelled the check they had previously sent to them and reissued it to me in hopes that it would motivate them to finish my house. It is now Oct 4. There have also been extenuating circustances due to Johnny on the Spot or one of their contractors negligence for which I will now most likely have to take to small claims court to settle. I will say that one of the contractors who patched and restored my unique hardwood floor was almost worth all the trouble I've been through...he did an outstanding job. Too bad his name is linked with this company!
