Popcorn, unbuttered and unsalted, is the perfect snack. it has carbs, you can consider it a "vegetable" (it does come from corn, right?), it's crunchy, and when you tired of it you can pretend it's your last boyfriend, string it up with a needle and hang it on the Christmas tree.
The problem with things that are "perfect" is that w are never satisfied with them and we feel we have to twiddle with it until we get it "right". Well, that's what old Joe did with his popcorn and gosh darn it if he didn't come up with the most inviting creations this side of Mt. St. Helens. A block away from Joe's place you can smell the perfectly balanced, never burnt, carmel that draws you in. Not in the mood for something sweet? Try his cheese corn...it's the best in the west.
Of course, you can also order big tins of the stuff...the same tins that Joe ships off to our hard working troops in Iraq. And you can supplement the corn with swedish fish and other special treats.
