I would not recommend this company due to their sloppy and poor workmanship. I had them replace my driveway in 2008 and at this time the install was poor at best, My wife kept having problems with a tire on her car getting holes in it and we found something sharp buried in the asphalt. Here it was a hook and chain off or one of the trucks. OK I could see where this could happen so I asked them to repair the hole in my drive way after removing the chain as instructed to do by Jim Jr. They did come out an patch the hole with cold patch and now I have a porous lump in my drive way and I was told It would smooth out after I drive on it a while. Also I had them seal my drive way at the same time. I know you are thinking, why. I believe in second chances. Was I wrong? They coated my driveway, my grass, my house and garage doors. Then it washed half of the sealer away when it rained that night after Jim Jr. told me it would be dry in 6-hours. I did contact them and asked them to fix it they came out and said they would clean the house, Garage doors and reseal the driveway. As for the lawn, I guess Mother Nature will have to repair this. I think I may have a case for the BBB. more

I would rate them a big fat zero, they came to do my neighbors backyard and in the process of doing it they took out a cable line and a phone line and are personal camara line wire called to see if they could fix it but they guy only told me it wasn't a big deal they just threw the wires into a field as if if never exsisted like they had no invovlement in the matter but they guy hung up on me while making my complaint glad he did I'm glad I have camaras and caught the whole action on tape. more

I would suggest you don't deal with this company. After contracting for widening my driveway by 5 feet on Oct.26, 2010 I specifically asked to be notified when the job would be done. I was never notified so I wasn't at home when the crew showed up.\r The person I contracted with never showed up at the work site. The crew didn't seem to have much of an idea what was to be done. Instead of contacting the negotiator or me they asked my wife who also didn't know anything of the details of the contract.\r After the job was done my wife(not knowing the details) paid.\r When I got home I found out that 5 feet had been added at the bottom of the driveway while only 4 feet had been added at the top of the driveway.\r After contacting the company I was told they would be out to correct the problem. This happened five times before the paving season ended in November. Four of those five times I was told I was on the schedule and no one ever showed up. If I ever had to leave a message on the phone no one ever got back to me.\r I contacted the company in the Spring of 2011 and again was told that the job would be completed. When nothing happened before July I called again and was told that I was scheduled for July 14 and the only thing that would prevent the job from being done would be rain. There wasn't a cloud in the sky on July 14 but no one showed up.\r That is when I gave up and called another company to complete the job and do some additional paving. The other company did an excellent job.\r more

i called them and they was prompt at getting back to me,they gave me a excellent price my family have used them for 20 years and we are always happy, we built a new house and we told the builder we didn't wan't to use anyone else other than jim's thank you Jim again....... more

i had them do my driveway, and me and my wife was thrilled, down to jim jr when he came out he was on time and we didn't wait for a estimate he printed it right there on the spot with great price the job was done to perfection from start to finish we was happy more

they provided an unsolicited price because they were 'working in the nieghborhood' and we could get $500 off thier regular price. we agreed. work was done on a friday and they were so desperate to get paid that the owner returned on a sunday to get the check, and insisted it be made out to him personally. the work was substandered; the driveway started to degrade within a week of the job and they will not return phone calls or return to make it right. more

Called Jim's for an estimate and he said he came out, but do you think we could get the estimate? After numerous calls to Jim and him promising to send the estimate, we decided to get other estimates and go with another paving company, since we could get no response from Jim's. Which is a shame because we used them a couple of years ago, and the did a good job then. I was told they try to take on too many customer for the size of their company, since they had some lay-offs. more

Had a 2" top coat done on a large driveway, with 3 "cutouts" needed to get the right grading for good water run-off. Jim's was the lower Bid of three Contractor's. They were on time, professional, neat and efficient. The Job looks good and I've gotten a number of compliments on it. \r \r Bob more

Jim's Paving does horrible work, don't even consider them, they try to get you with their low-ball pricing. Low price equals low quality. Poor quality materials and poor customer service. more

Jim's paving did a wonderful job on our driveway. It was in need of quite a bit of work. I felt that Jim's Paving completed the job so that it looks good, will last a long time, and will be safe. They accomplished this while coming in with a price quite a bit under other companies who also tried to sell us much more than what we needed. We were very happy with Jim's Paving. more
