I have taken my car to Jim’s for about 4 years now. I have a ford escape 2002 and I’m not going to lie I am petty ruff on it but Jim and his well rounded team have taught me basic car management to better take of my vehicle. That’s something that I don’t hear about often. They will fix what I want to be fixed in a New York minute but also teach and show me what I can do differently to ensure the longevity of the piece that was fixed. I have never had to complain about a job they did and if something wasn't quite right it was taken care of promptly. Thank you very much. I highly recommend Jim’s Automotive! more

At Jim’s shop there are a few great men on his team. One of them is a very capable young mind and strong work ethic determined to finish the job correctly. The go to gentleman to be relied upon for fast oil changes, breaks, lights, fluids ect. He did an outstanding job on finding out my other issues with my car, as well as teaching me about it. Just one out of many that stand out in his shop. more

Being AAA and Bosh certified is no easy task to accomplish yet Jim has been approved as the NM tech of the year the past 2 years in a row and received #1 in the country as Bosh did a surprise visit to his shop. There are impressive certificates of excellence displayed in his guest area to give peace of mind to the quality of work you are about to receive. I feel comfortable knowing they are trained in all areas. more

This shop is a RIP OFF! They were trying to charge me almost $1,200 to replace the fuel pump on my 2001 GMC Yukon saying the part was $450(which is only $175) and takes 5 hours of labor to change at $110/hr. It takes no more than 2 hours to change, you just need to drop the gas tanks, unscrew couple screws, replace, and you're done! They also tried to change other parts that are working fine.\r I ended up taking my car back to another mechanic which cost me only $450 for parts and labor. I was very upset because they didnt want to give me my car back until I paid them 1 hour of labor $117.50. Avoid this place at all cost! more

Have been going to Jim's Automotive for 8 years and we are so glad the day we finally found his repair shop. Had such bad luck before finding him. Very friendly, honest, outstanding customer service and high on integrity. And he hires only reliable and knowledgeable people. Always gives you all the information on a printout of your car's profile that shows your repairs, costs and possible future repairs and what to watch out for if something is going. Calls and lets you know costs of your repairs before performing them. These guys are great and have never had any problems, large or small, with them or their work. Outstanding!! more
