Due to the unprofessional and confrontational aspect of my experience with Jim Ellis of Marietta, I'm reaching out to state a recent experience at this dealership. I have always been an individual quick to praise and overlook the negative, yet, enough's enough with these guys!
I had my top replaced and was not told they were going to use a vender to do so until I called to check up on my TT. It would have made a difference, as generally Vender services outside of the dealership aren't as reliable as those on-site. Several issues resulted afterward with faulty workmanship; however, the final straw was finding where they sliced a part of my interior which houses the roll bars. Not only did they slice it, they saudered wires which resulted in damage to my passenger window. The window will not raise nor lower and the motor burned out. The slice created thousands in damage. After speaking with ""Kevin"" I was totally insulted by his accentuation that I had taken my vehicle elsewhere and someone else had done this damage. Jim Ellis of Marietta is the only place which has ever serviced my top and mechanical issues to my TT. He was in fact, calling me a liar.
I asked to speak to the service manager, who gave me the run around and stated he would order the part over the weekend and be in touch within a few days. After phoning a few weeks later, still no answer, then after waiting almost a month I phoned and of course the part had NEVER been ordered. Also, my air worked awesome when I took it in, but the very next day I had no air at all, what perfect timing? Always things that seemed to mess up right at the time of service which leads one to believe they create issues with your vehicle on purpose to meet their service quota. Jim Ellis Marietta is the worst excuse for Audi service ever, so much so, I've encountered at least 20 folks who have shared their horror stories about this dealership with me in the last week. If you love your Audi, consider my warning and shy away from Jim Ellis! I have no resolve to some serious issues to my vehicle and Jim Ellis is responsible, but you'll never hear them state the NEGATIVE things they do, that wouldn't be great PR, now would it?
