I have a Maytag Neptune front in loading washing machine I purchased in 2000. In April 2009 the spin cycle stopped working. I called Jensens and Randy showed up. He told me machine was worth fixing. He replaced CPU board for $329.00. Service Charge $65, labor $95 for a total of $512.00. He replaced the board by opening the front of the machine, pulling the old board out and putting in the new one. Three minutes work. He told me he did not need to level machine. No problem. Board guaranteed for one year. Machine went out again in March 2111. I looked on internet and found out it is a fuse problem with the design of the CPU board. You can buy a kit for $12 and soder the the two new pieces into the old board. I feel Randy should have known this and should have advised me to dump the Maytag which I am doing now. I am over 65 and do not appreciate being ripped off by anyone, much less a local business.
