I cannot thank you enough for all your help. I was so afraid of getting a root canal and you did it so perfectly I never felt a thing!! I will not be afraid anymore. I really appreciate you getting me in so quickly and saving me so much time and even more money. You did all of that and you didn't even know me. Lechelle is lucky to work with such a great guy. more

Used Dr. Ackerman for Invisalign. Great experience and great results. His staff was helpful, courteous, and knowledgable. My appointments started on time every time, but once (in every 6 weeks for 15 months) more

He knows his stuff! 4/19/2010

I first went to Dr. Ackerman for a second opinion on recommended gum graft surgery. He performed a thorough examination, and was able to confirm the need for the surgery. He developed a treatment plan for the gum grafts and other procedures I needed to restore the health of my gums, and provided me with an estimate. I had the first series of gum grafts, and have been extremely satisfied. I will return next week for the remaining grafts. Dr. Ackerman's staff has been very accommodating in scheduling my appointments to fit my busy schedule. Also, Dr. Ackerman called my home the night of my surgery to check on how I was doing. I, too, find their billing procedures confusing, and I had to contact the staff to learn that I didn't have to pay the bill until they received the final insurance reimbursement. As far as treatment goes, Dr. Ackerman knows his stuff, and I highly recommend him. more

Dr. Ackerman's staff has been very accommodating in scheduling my appointments to fit my busy schedule. Also, Dr. Ackerman called my home the night of my surgery to check on how I was doing. I, too, find their billing procedures confusing, and I had to contact the staff to learn that I didn't have to pay the bill until they received the final insurance reimbursement. Your staff is always very professional, the doctor fully explained my treatment needs the consequences of non treatment and options as to how to proceed. The staff is attentive to my comfort throughout treatment. The receptionist is always polite and courteous when I call. Overall the service is great! more

Will go to for the rest of my life.. 3/2/2010

I was referred to Dr. Ackerman after I began having a difficulty with a dental implant. Dr. Ackerman was able to resolve the problem quickly and also handle other complicated issues. His specialized training and thorough preparation before each procedure is evident and impressive. This is the dentist I will go to for the rest of my life. Diane W. more

Finest dentistry possible! 2/23/2010

I have been a patient here for thirty years and have learned to appreciate the finest dentistry possible. After living in the Virginia area for 32 years, I recently retired and moved to Pennsylvania. Having gone to five dentists there and having had very negative experiences at all five, I had to return to Dr. Ackerman to have him correct the major mistakes they had made. I now drive from PA for all my dental needs. I have again fallen in love with all the staff and my dentist here in Virginia. Linda B. more

Honest and straight forward manner! 2/17/2010

I have known Dr. Ackerman as a friend and as my dentist for the past 18 years. When I first came to him I had neglected my teeth and needed quite a bit of work. Although I had always felt nervous at the dentists he made me feel comfortable and I was very glad to have the work done. I always appreciate his honest and straight forward manner. I am particularly excited now as I am in the last stages of having my teeth straightened. My teeth were very crowded and I was a very challenging case. Dr. Ackerman had fun encouraging me to do this for several years. more
