I signed up for a 2-hour dog training seminar. It was supposed to start at 12 but they were at least 15 people in line with their dogs filling out applications and she took at least 10 minutes with each person as they turned in their application. Wall I was waiting and trying to fill out my application, which by the way there was nowhere to fill it out you had to stand there with your dog on a leash. And try to keep your dog calm from trying not to want to play with the other dogs and socialize. My dog would bark at times at other dogs as they would PocketMine. My dog normally doesn't Park as long as she can play with other dogs she is fine. When I finally got up to my turn to turn in my application Gene the owner and trainer said to me " Oh, the bad dog." I said she's not bad she just barks when she wants to play with other dogs. after that we still had to wait for the rest of the people to turn in the applications after that if you wanted to train your dog to walk on a loose leash she made you buy her expensive $28 leash and more money for a prong collar which was I think about $18. I asked her if my leash was good enough. And she says it has to be leather and I said why does it have to be leather? And she said we'll talk about that later. She's just in it for the money. Then after that we had to stand in line again to retrieve our leashes in our collars. At this point an hour went by without any class to start yet. When I went to retrieve my dog's leash in prong collar that I bought her from her, she looked at me and said," That dog doesn't want to play. That dog is an aggressive dog." my dog is a submissive dog when she meets other dogs at the dog park she always immediately rolls over on her back. She has NEVER bit another dog or human, ever. When she first told me, Oh, the bad dog. I let that slide but after the second comment, all of that was all uncalled for and unprofessional. I did not deserve that nor did my dog. she told me that my dog was not supposed to sniff other dogs. Are you kidding me? we're at a dog training place and other dogs aren't supposed to sniff other dogs? I told her that. I also told her I'm here for training you expect me to stand in line for a whole hour pre-registration when you taking 10 minutes per person and then more time to hand out collars and leashes that you MAKE people buy. you expect an untrained dog to just sit still for a whole hour in a line and if they don't they are a "bad, aggressive dog?" I told her at this point nevermind forget about it give me my check. When I told her that I was also thinking about taking her 8-week course but now that all that this is happened, forget about it. When I told her that she changed her tune her eyeballs poked out of her head and she tried to get me to stay. Yeah I guess because she was going to lose some more money from me. This inconsiderate unprofessional woman has no business teaching dogs with an attitude like that. I literally left there in tears and I never felt so humiliated in my life!
