Dr. Z always gives me good advice with no bs, looks out for my best interest. Dr. Z does not waste time with something that will not work for me or my daily routine. What I most like , he wont tell me what me want to hear,\r and I like that . Pretty clear upfront .\r more

Great place , great skin doctor I highly recommend, he is a skin doctor , and very professional of his service , they took care of me in a flash , I went for the a tattoo removal and was very fast , and I had some facial hair removal done at the same time . doctor Zelaya keep up the good work you are fabulous , and maria the aesthetician team she is great.\r more

My family and I have been seeing Dr Zelaya for years. We are so happy with his attentive care. Over the years Dr Zelaya took care of my kids' acne, warts, and many childhood rashes, and my cancers. Honestly, I do not understand all the negative reviews on some of these sites, but we have been recommending this caring doctor for years. We had the the fortunate experience of calling the office on a weekend after hours, he answered the phone and was glad to see my toddler for a severe rash that same afternoon, without any hesitation. My child had severe Coxsacky(??) infection. Sure the office has changed through the years. Front desk staff has changed, the office has gotten busier, but what remains constant is his pleasant demeanor. Everyone on our block goes to him, more

acne targeted and destroyed 9/16/2010

Our family found dr Z's office through friends, My twins started seeing him for acne and we are so pleased with the progress. We had spent a fortune on over the counter products, including of course proactive. \r dr Z spent time reviewing their habit s( good and bad), really stressing the importance of compliance and we are seeing real visible improvement. Terrible Experience 5/6/2010

This Dr. is rude in his dealings with patients after you have waited an hour to be seen and than pushed out the door feeling like you've been mistreated. The wait is so long and the time in the exam room is so short and rushed you feel like it almost didn't happen except that you pay a fortune for everything. I didn't even get a chance to ask the questions I wanted to ask. I have to go to another Dr. now and am not sure my insurance will cover a 2nd treatment. Love the Doctor, but... 9/23/2009

I really like Dr Zeyala. The place was packed so he gets a lot of customers it seems, of all ethnicities which is a plus since I am of color and my skin needs special treatment. I got to my appointment early and was still waiting an hour and a half later. I don't see the point of being on time for these things if I have to wait that long. And then once I was in there I only saw the actual doctor for a good 5 minutes. His assistant took over after that. While I like the fact that I got coupons with my perscriptions, the products not covered under insurance (like bleaching cream and acne pads) we're pretty pricey. I paid $25 for copay and then $85 for two small bottles of product. if they don't work I am not going to be pleased that I waited so long and spent so much money! Pros: Dr Zeyala is very attentive, listens to needs Cons: The wait was so long for only 8 minutes of attention! more

Burdened with acne for years, and seen a lot of dermatologists who barely examined me. Started seeing Dr Z, smart/efficient/listens! Very Happy w/ progress :) He actually examines you, offers great recommendations. Had extractions, got some samples of meds my insurance didn't cover,met with Dolores. Very practical and effective approach to my acne. My spouse loves the improvement. Feeling real uncomfortable in my skin.\r Finally found a dermatology office that I like visiting. great service and attentive care 8/23/2007

Recently called the office panicing over a bleeding growth. Receptionist was extremely helpful in scheduling an appointment the same day. Because of lack of childcare I arrived with my todler.\r The staff was helpful in asisting me with may insurance mishap (nightmare) and entertaining my todler while the doctor examined me. Dr Zelaya was professional and a pleasure, he reassured me and adviced on a biopsy after completing a full body skin exam. Within a week I was diagnosed and had outpatient surgery for my skin cancer. Bad office practices, great doctors 7/17/2007

The Dr's themselves were wonderful. The staff on the other hand is horrible. They have some very shifty practices there. After handing them a proper referral they claim not to be able to use it. This in turn gives me less than a few hours to produce a second one. As we all know PCP's are not always available in such short notice for additional referrals. If they bill me directly they retain 100 percent of the billed cost. If they bill the insurance company they only recieve anywhere from 60 to 70 percent of the cost. This is a fast way for them to make extra money at no additioal cost to them and guess what your the one that has to pay. It is my opinion that this is an unethical practice. There are plenty of dermatologists out there, don't use this one. Pros: good doctors Cons: bad office staff more

Dr. Zelaya is a great dermatologist and really takes his work seriously. He's kind and patient and very attentive to details and has the experience to back up his knowledge of dermatology. He's a great find! more
