Phoenix's Best Kept Secret 8/8/2005

Little do most of us know, but downtown Phoenix, in Hance Park, there is the most beautiful Garden you have ever seen. There are waterfalls, a rushing stream, giant Koi fish, several kinds of bamboo, and lovely imported and manicured trees and other plants. There is a shaded winding path, lovely statues and picturesque backdrops for you to ponder. This is open to the public, for a nominal fee. (I think a dollar) You can rent the large garden privately, for wedding ceremonies or other functions. I highly recommend it for pictures. There is a traditional tea house where Japanese tea ceremonies are regularly performed. Don't miss it! more
