I arrived in pain. As many of us reluctant to go to the dentist's office after moving into a new city. I was attached to embrace my cactus, the pain, rather than facing the unknown. This is my way to describe my state. I feel well now, healing and with a new dentist. I am gRateful and I can smile. more

I wish to thank the staff of the office of Dr. James S. Oh, DDS. I was pleasantly welcomed into the office and greeted by Annie who quickly took me through the signing process of a new patient. Before long I was invited back and thoroughly explained the procedure for my first cleaning by Pam who handled my cleaning with great care and was patiently answering all my questions. Followed by a quick look into the status of my teeth by Dr. James himself who treated me as if I was already a long outstanding patient of the office. And who also spent time, even though I was only there for a cleaning, going over other procedures that I may need in the future once I come in again for my next thorough exam, x-rays and deeper cleaning. I found the office to be very clean, orderly and very well put into place and felt very comfortable in an environment that was not cluttered in anyway but very well organized. Not only do I plan to return and continue my dental health with Dr. James and his staff but will most definitely recommend him to anyone I know who may need dental work. Just moving to the area, I had my first appointment with Dr. Oh and staff... I am very pleased with the professional aspects of the complete staff.... I will probably misspell some names (sorry), but thank you Dr. Oh, Pam, Didi, Patti & Annie for making me feel completely welcome as a new patient .. My best friend is in dental sales and knows most dental offices in Monterey, San Benito and Santa Cruz counties so I asked her who was the best dentist in the area before I could even finish the question she blurted out "DR. OH! He's very proactive, spares no expense on the latest technology, has the latest everything!" At first I was just looking for a dentist for my dent-a-phobe boyfriend who hadn't been to a dentist in over a decade but after hearing his rave reviews I got a little jealous (O.K. A LOT jealous) and as soon as Dr. Oh took my insurance I was in. Love the new xray technology, love the text and email reminders, the 3D imaging, the movies, the lavender wrap (it's like going to a spa-dentist). Fabulous! more

generally very positive experience, and I do intend to have Dr. Oh as my regular dentist going forward. One comment; I sat in the waiting area for about ten minutes before the receptionist handed me the iPad to fill out. I thought that it would have been more efficient to give it to me immediately upon my arrival, so I did not have to take the extra time to fill it out. more

IT WAS A LONGER PROCEEDURE THAN ESTIMATED AS MY TOOTH FRAGMENTED AND WAS DIFFICULT TO EXTRACT..HOWEVER THE EXPERIENCE WAS MADE MORE TOLERABLE BY DR OHS PATIENCE AND POSITIVE ATTITUDE PLUS THAT OF HIS ASSISTANT..THE MOVIE ALSO KEPT ME FROM OBSESSING ON THE PROCEEDURE.. more
