Very nice and clean market however their take out foods are grossly overpriced; souther fried chicken is $7.99lb while everyone else is $5.99. Their sliced salamy was the fattiest I have ever seen. I used to love their homemade potato knishes and would purchase 24 at a clip on fridays when they were made. I must have returned at least 6 times looking for knishes until I finally got the truth that the baker who made them was not wih them anymore and no longer made the knishes. Why so long to get the truth? I made so many trips for nothing. Their challas are very good. more

What rip off. Ontop of that the owenrs have a "sense of humor": the advertise a free loaf of bread, but when you read the fine print the offer is only valid for far away zio codes like Pompano Beach. I livenext door and Aventura and my zip is not included in the offer. Ridiculous!\r Also,be aware that to get the prices advertised in their weekly flyer, you must present the flyer (nota coupon, the flyer) otherwise you will pay the regular (rip off price) Stay away. more

I bought 4 Groupons (2 for me, 2 for my husband) based on the blurb they had (organic supermarket, prepared foods, blah blah). I've used 3 of the 4, and everytime I drag myself (so as not to waste the money I've already spent) to that overpriced market I still have trouble finding enough things to spend the $30 Groupon. Almost everything you look at is expired, some even months so, and all at a price that makes Whole Foods seem like Walmart. The only good thing I've ever gotten there is the rotisserie chicken and I've heard the pizza's good as well. The cashier today was not overtly rude, but you could tell he would really rather not be bothered ringing up groceries. The only one in the store that seemed to work hard was the guy stocking the produce. To top it all off, I just opened the box of ice cream bars I'd bought earlier today and every one of them has melted completely and been refrozen. Annoying. The only thing more annoying is having to go back again to spend the last coupon. Ugh. more

Our company Bella Vita sent them $500 worth of product in February and 5 months later we have yet to be paid and have never been told there was ever a problem with our product. Store manager David Resnik just tells us he can't help with getting us paid and our sales rep in the area tells us this is not unusual. We've been in business 12 years and bad debt is very rare ... new vendors beware!!!! more

I've never had a worse shopping experience. No signs or prices shown at the deli or olive bar. I asked the guy behind the counter how to determine the price. He says "Ask me" Not only do you have to ask him the price, you have to ask him what each item is. In addition, the guy is Rude. He thinks he's doing you a favor by selling you a stuffed chicken breast for $10.99/lb and he seems inconvenienced when you ask him what something is. It appears that he can quote whatever prices he wants. The scales they use to weigh items do not function properly and the ticket stuck to your purchase does not show the weight. Prices are ridiculously high and workers are unpleasant. AVOID this place. more

I have to say wow South Florida has really come along way. when talking about Kosher markets. Im a retired butcher from New york and that moved to Aventura, Florida few years back. i purchase a coupoun through Groupons for jacobs market and today was my first time in there store. i was very impressed with the fresh meat & poultry display and very reasonably priced. i purchased some prepared foods from there large deli selection chicken soup, beef short ribs, baked salmon & quinoa and fresh cut fruits and it all was delicious. Keep up the good work well done more

We thought it would be great to have a new option for a full kosher market in such a great location. We were very disappointed, even after trying to return for 4 visits.\r \r The price of the salads are pretty outrageous; $8.99 a pound for green beans with slivered almonds, and $7.99 a pound for slaw. The "fresh" Babka ($7.99 for 24 ounces) that came from the bakery had no expiration date and tasted like it had been made last year. It was really stale. \r \r The bone in rib steaks were cut way too thin, and there was no marbling at all in the meat. They were tough. \r \r Their cashier was a man who apparently did not like his job, as he was beyond rude, lacked courtesy, and does not belong in the front of a market. The customers in front of us also shared that sentiment, as did a customer looking for Juan the manager to attempt to get a bread priced correctly, after this cashier failed to look at a sign.\r \r The rotisserie chickens were the salvation of Jacob's both in price and taste. They were fresh, and cost only $7.99. \r \r Most disappointing was the fact that there was no chicken soup on the shelf on Friday for the sabbath. All in all, there is a lack of attention to important details, and although it is a great location, we will not rush back. more
