Not sure what went on with previous person, but we used Anthony Mosely and believe he best lender in Grand Rapids ! After being told it would take me 45 days to get my loan done at a credit union and a horrible experience at a bank, VanDyk gave us a better rate, lower fees and a closing under 30 days...Beginning to end was 25 days! We will tell everyone about them and our great experience. more

I used their services in late 2010 (Anthony Mosley was the broker). I found the experience of working with Anthony extremely disappointing and his behaviour unprofessional.\r \r I asked to lock down the interest rate several times, which they did not, and I ended up with the interest rate which was not very attractive at all. \r \r Very disappointing. We did our purchase with VanDyk Mortgage out of Fort Pierce Fl. And I'm shocked to hear that someone was missled in any way by another Branch Office. VanDyk Mortgage has a strict policy on how to work with customers and they really did go out of their way to make our purchase go through. As a matter a fact they helped me and my wife get a few things off my credit reports permanently that were haunting us for the last four years just by simply submitting all the paperwork we had to prove the creditor wrong in a matter of 48 hrs. That is going out of your way to make things happen. In our book they are A OK with us. We would recomend their services to anyone looking to refiance or purchase. Thank you Robert for making this happen for us. Pros: Will go the extra mile and did. Cons: Sometimes it takes longer but it also depends on how backed up lenders are w/ files. more

We were mislead while working with them on a new mortgage. It took much longer than we were told it would to close which made us almost loose the house we were purchasing. Cons: they make it sound good up front but things changed half way through at which point was to late to look elsewhere without loosing the house we wanted to purchase more
