The rebate is about all I got from Jack Schmitt. Their customer service is great until you drive off the lot. My brand new car had a scratch on it that was there before I took it for a test drive. Since I received a $5,000 rebate from a current promotion on the vehicle I wanted to purchase (last brand new one on the lot in a model that isn't made anymore) , the salesman did not want to give me an additional $$ off for the scratch. We reached a compromise that they would fix the scratch for free (well DUH) since they wouldn't give me $$ off for it. He promised he would contact me to get the scratch fixed. I waited three months and did not hear a word from him.
I was advised when I took my car into Midas for routine maintenance that the front wheel bearings had play on them from top to bottom and that at only 7,000 miles, it would be covered under the warranty. I verified this with Jack Schmitt's maintenance garage and took the car in. They said there was no play at all on the car. Mi
