I change my own oil, but I have had them change my 4 wheel drive fluids. trans filters, and trans flushes. They don't sell you something you do not need, but offer more expensive oils and trans fluids if you really need the better stuff. When they changed my trans fluid and filter the pan was like new. more

Unexpected great customer service 11/13/2005

J R's Lube Shop is located on Mound Road, north of 15 Mile. My husband tried their shop on a whim and we've been going back ever since. The owner does not let you leave the shop until you are satisfied and makes sure his employees treat you with respect. His shop is one of the few that checks off everything on the list for an oil change. They send out coupons when you get on their mailing list. more

Surprisingly good service! 8/20/2005

My husband stumbled upon this shop when searching for someplace reliable to change his oil. The service is surprisingly good and friendly. Each service associate has taken the time to thoroughly inspect my vehicle and look for parts that need to be replaced. They also keep records on what they recommend replacing. Be sure to give them your full address as they do send out discount coupons for your next oil change. It's great to find a place that has such good customer service. more
