My firm advice: SKIP IVANA. Unprofessional, unorganized experience. I had a gut instinct when they arrived to pick up the furniture. And you know you should always follow such intuition. My daughter moved after the abrupt loss of her spouse, and consigned a very expensive set of furniture with Vicki. The very young boys who picked up the furniture from my home had no moving blankets, I provided my own blankets to them (never returned) in hopes the quality items were not damaged on arrival, they were just put into a truck, no straps either. One young boy had an asthma onset while picking the items up from my home. There was no physical agreement sent out, as promised, after multiple calls on my daughter's behalf, and upon receipt of the check for the items, we were all in shock at the price the items sold for. We could have sold it on craiglist. My daughter called to discuss her disappointment, and Vicki was less than personable, defensive and cold. There was a lack of acceptance of the lack of communication and actually blamed my daughter for not asking for that paper consignment agreement never sent out by Ivana's/Vicki. I am saddened that a small business owner would behave so cruelly and defensively - and actually shift blame/responsibility on the other person. This is just bad business practices. Promises are made, but definite customer no-service right here, especially if you question the anything. My daughter was definitely taken advantage of. I am not sorry to share this reality, as no one else should have this upset happen.
