Best

The food is good. The loaf of bread with the sugar top is also good.\r The servers need much improvement.

Worst

I went with my wife and daughter about a month after it opened. We were looking forward to the experience and when we walked in we were blown away by the breath-taking fish tank ...

HORRIBLE service! 11/16/2011

We have eaten here several times while visiting the store attached and the service has never been great, but our last trip was unacceptable. We are low maintenance, easy to please customers and the experience was so bad it was almost comical. Worst of all when I told the manager we had to get our own utensils and bread plates, bus our own dishes, move the food ourselves (he refused to give it to the right person), never got drink refills AND he was rude, the manager didn't care at all. No wonder the staff is so very bad!!!\r more

disappointing 5/27/2008

Came here for a family reunion and to celebrate my birthday and Mother's Day. There were 15 of us. I called to make reservations but they said they didn't take any but would be ready to accomodate us. We waited 45 minutes. When the food arrived, everyone was disappointed. Two got the wrong side dishes and the fish and shrimp was dry. I ordered lobster (which came with No butter!) and had to ask for melted butter because the texture of the lobster was so dry and tough. They gave me a free desert since it was my birthday but when spending that much, I would have thought a birthday cake would have been complimentary. All and all, we won't ever go back to that SA restaurant. more

Sampler and Buffalo Burger 3/15/2008

We had high hopes based on the smells coming from the restaurant so we went in. It was mid -afternoon and they were not busy, however everything took longer than we would have expected. We waited about 10 minutes for a waiter who had no personality and made us feel like we were imposing. We orderd sweet tea. About 5 minutes later our tea and their specialty bread came to the table. That was the best part of the meal. 15 minutes later our waiter showed up and we ordered. We decided to be adventurous and we shared the seafood apetizer sampler and a buffalo burger. We were told the buffalo burger could be ordered medium rare..so we decided it was a good choice. It took another 25 minutes for the food to come and it was not hot...it seemed like it had been sitting for a while. The seafood sampler consisted of 2 conch fritters which were bland and chewy. 4 coconut butterfly shrimp also bland and 4 overcooked and chewy alligator tails pcs. $12.95. Included were 3 dipping sauces which were ok - they were the only flavor on the plate. The buffalo burger was well done, and chewy, but had a good flavor. The fries were soggy and the cole slaw tasted too much like plain mayo. We were asked how the food was exactly 1 minutes after we recieved it....and if the waiter was observant he would have noticed that we had not even tried our food yet. That was the last time we saw our waiter until he brought the check. I never could get a refill for my tea. The billl came to $28.00 before the tip and we will never go back........ Pros: Great atmosphere and their specialty bread is delightlful Cons: Expensive and bland more

Won't ever go back! 1/12/2008

I agree with the other reviews, overpriced, rushed, and poor food. We went with our two children and decided to pay the prices and pretend to be on vacation. The waiter was rushing us so much that when he asked - for the fifth time - if we were ready to order and I told him ""NO"", he actually asked if I was having a problem with the menu and if he could help me decide. The food was cold and the experience left us feeling like we needed to go to another place to eat. more

Disappointing 1/11/2008

I went with my wife and daughter about a month after it opened. We were looking forward to the experience and when we walked in we were blown away by the breath-taking fish tank and fish mounted on the walls. It was fairly early and we were seated immediately. They sat us right next to the kitchen entrance and it was miserable, people were constantly walking past and knocking into our table. We also felt extremely rushed, we barely got our menu when the waitress asked for our order; we told her we needed more time and she came back about 1 minute later. It seemed like she was always hovering, taking things from the table as soon as we finished etc. It may have been inexperince on her part but it was irritatating, there is a big difference between being attentive and rushing a customer. I ordered the salmon and it was served to me raw on the inside, it looked like it had been fllipped on the grill once - it was not just a little pink, it was red/raw. Once I got it back it was ""okay"" but by then I was wondering about everything. It was definitely not a great dining experience and I doubt I will go back. more

To Pricey for what you get! 10/22/2007

My husband and I along with our 3 children went there summer of 2007, we couldn't wait to slurge on ourselves and have a wonderful meal. We wanted to make it a nice experience for our kids.\r We were seated right away, and the seating was way to crowded, not kid friendly. The chairs were very uncomfortable. We ordered the seafood sampler appetizer, it looked so good, but when we got it, it was cold and the portion was very small. it tasted like freezer stuff thawed out. Not even enough for everyone to have a whole peice of something. We ordered the kids meals for them and I got the coconut shrimp and baked potato, and my husband got the fish and shrimp. My potato was so cold that it didn't even melt the butter. My husband said the fish and shrimp was small and had no flavor. We was so disappointeed...we wanted it to be good...the only thing we liked there was the bread they bring you to the table while you are waiting. It was one of the only things that looked fresh and was warm. The bill came to well over a hundred dollars.. the three kids meals looked better than ours, cheese pizza, hamburger, and chicken strips...\r I don't recomend this place for the food, because YOU DON'T GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR, for taste or amount you get. more
