Iris Dry Cleaners

The location for this cleaners is great - it's right next to Busch's, Domino's, and Blockbuster on S. Main. The people who work make me feel like I'm not just another customer walking in, and when I need a favor (need clothes cleaned right away because I'm going on a trip, or I'm running late and I need them to stay open a little bit longer so I can pick up my clothes) they always try their best to accommodate. I love that they use green earth cleaning so my conscious can be appeased. I would disagree with CZ07159's review about the alterations. I need my pants altered all the time because I'm short, and I always take them to Iris - I've never had a problem. more

Have not had any issues with dry cleaning although it is pricey. However, NEVER take alterations here. I took two pairs of pants here to get shortened. On the first try, both pairs of pants were much too long. I took the pants back and explained that I had them altered at Iris Dry Cleaners and that they were too long and that I would like them fixed. When I went to pick up the fixed pants, I was charged $28, on top of the $28 I originally paid. I talked to the owner and she said because I did not say they were a ""redo"" I would need to pay. Apparently, the woman with whom I spoke on the prior visit did not understand that the pants were originally altered there. There is a language barrier as she is foreign and does not speak much English. When I explained this to the owner, she still required that I pay the additional charge.
