Can I bump up my rating to SIX STARS? I think we all know that client service has become a rarity these days, but I'm casting my vote IN FULL SUPPORT of Irina because she embraces the lost art of personalized service with a level of experience and honesty that makes you feel so comfortable when you sit down in that chair. Apprehensive about how that new style will look on you? No worries...you will receive not only flawless execution, but a caring and candid opinion before she even starts. I'm a buttoned-down, suit-wearing professional, but I'm sure Irina could talk me into coloring my hair purple because when you're her client, you know she has taken the time to consider what will work for you, and will make you feel great that you put your head in her extremely talented hands! The trip out to the beach to see Irina is worth it EVERY TIME for this suburban office dweller...thank you!!! more

PHENOMENAL! 11/22/2010

Before I met Irina I went from place to place always hating my curly, frizzy hair. My hair was fried from overdrying, and relaxers and color with BAD chemicals. I've had cuts, color, and permanent straightening treatments done with Irina and she always does a fabulous job. Irina uses natural organic products and teaches you how to care for your hair. I have recommended her to friends and they've always become life-long customers as well. \r \r Since then, I have followed Irina around Miami for the last 9 years and I am ecstatic that she finally has her own salon. She really is phenomenal!! Easily the most artistic and most professional hairdresser I've ever had. Best Stylist I've ever been to! 11/21/2010

Irina Salon is located in the heart of South Beach, right on Alton road. I've never actually had a relationship with my hair stylist until I went to Irina Salon. After just moving to Miami Beach last year I had to find a new stylist and went to a few places on the beach and was not impressed at all. Everything seemed to be overpriced and too rushed for my taste. One day walking down Alton road I remember seeing chairs inside of a building and noticed it was a brand new salon. After going there with my partner I instantly knew I wanted to get my hair done there as well. Irina is such an easy person to talk to and really makes you look forward to your next salon visit. I even stop by just to say hi sometimes! The world needs more real stylists like her. It would be in your best interest to check her out, you won't be disappointed :) more

amazing color specialist! 11/11/2010

\r Irina, is so amazing...I had a bad hair color from an salon in Aventura and was walking around the city with a really bad hair color...a dear friend told me about Irina's Salon and I called made an appt and Irina went to work....I""m so happy I look amazing with my new color with amazing high lights!!!! my hair looks and feels amazing! A true color artist...Irina ROCKS 10/20/2010

I guess almost everyone has had the occasional similar experience: you know, when you ask for “Just the tips” and you get a “Victoria Beckham Bob” or you decide to take the risky trip down the “color-me highway”, you ask for highlights and at the end of it you just end up actually considering voluntarily joining the Witness Protection Program? .... I assume we can agree on the following: Professional; True Color Artists/Stylists; Honest, Reasonable Priced and Punctual, (rarely heard off in Miami, where people seem to operate on *I will be there when I get there Standard time*) are really hard to find these days. So when you find one, and I assure you, Irina is one of them, hold on to her like you do a venti size free starbucks and follow her wherever she goes, even Tampa!\r You won’t be disappointed. \r more

Talented Stylist 10/15/2010

Me and my bf have gone through many stylists ,barbers and they've never given us the hair cut we asked for. They never really understood what we wanted. We found Irina's place while walking through Alton. We both needed a haircut so we just walked in. First of all the hospitality was amazing, Irina made us feel like we new her for years. I told her what kind of hair cut I had in mind, and my bf as well. she gave us more than we bargained for. Our searching for a stylist days are over. Looking for a new you and a new look??? 10/13/2010

I was recommended to Irina through a co worker. I was a little leary because I had only gotten my hair cut from my friends back home in Iowa. I usually walk in and say do whatever you want and end up walking out with just a trim. \r \r I tried this same approach with Irina and walked out a new person!! Most hair stylist cringe when you tell them to do whatever they think will look good, but Irina was very excited and we started our consultation looking through magazines searching for a haircut. I work in the corporate world as an accountant so i told her that i wanted and edgy yet appropriate look. We found about 3 we liked and she ended up combining my favorite aspects from each into 1 FANTASTIC haircut! \r \r Irina is EXTREMELY knowledgeable about the products that she uses and is the only hairsylist who has sat down to me to explain what shampoo/ conditioner i should be using and exactly what chemicals strip color. She is also the only stylist i know to offer ALL NATURAL products to her clients. The passion she shows for her talent really makes you feel 100 % confident that you will be walking out of there like a million bucks!! more

Love, love, love Irina! 10/8/2010

I wound up in Irina's capable hands after a previous stylist completely messed up the back of my hair trying to achieve the cut I wanted. Not only did Irina fix that disaster, but she gave me a hair makeover. At first I was terrified b/c I was afraid that the cut would be too short or unflattering. I shouldn't have worried b/c Irina took my hair from ""ok"" to ""awesome!""\r \r I went from having old-school blonde highlights to an awesome strawberry blonde shade that really brings out my eyes. I cannot tell you how many people have stopped me to compliment my hair and ask where I have it done. Irina will take time to look at your face and bone structure and will give you not only the cut you want but the cut you need to make the most of your features. I cannot recommend her highly enough. more

Artistic in every way 10/6/2010

I have been going to Irina fo hair and make-up for a long time now. Even my mother and little brother go to Irina for their haircuts.\r Irina has always done exceptional work when it comes to cutting hair, hair styling for different occasions and make up that is flawless. I go to Irina for everything: weddings, conferences and even concerts.\r What is so great about Irina, is that not only is she able to accomplish the look you are trying to get (such as going to a wedding) she incorporates your style into it. Even though the style is supposed to be glamorous and sophisticated, she adds a modern and fresh twist to it, so the style can have originality and personality.\r As I have said before, I have been going to Irina for years, and will continue for many more. more

Best Hair Dresser in South Beach!!!! 10/1/2010

Last night I had a huge event and was in the biggest hurry. Poor Irina had an hour and a half to do full hair and make up....the woman pulled it off without breaking a sweat!!! I walked out looking like a funky fresh superstar, which was the PERFECT dynamic for the event I was heading to. Everyone at the event wanted to know who did my hair and who was my make up artist....Irina was hit in my book and everyone else's!\r \r Thanks Irina, you're definately the best in SoBe!!!! more

I had very long hair down to my lower back. I wanted to cut it to donate it. I wanted a pixie cut so I started searching for different cuts. I found one I LOVED. I went to the salon, showed the picture to Irina and that was that. She cut my hair identical to the picture. She truly is an artist!! I couldn't be HAPPIER!!! i am a model from NY, and have struggled to find someone that cares...one day ...I was walking on Alton Rd and there I saw it!!!! IRINA SALON...my hair was a mess,and i thought..why not,? ,get a trim!!I went inside and was suprised to hear fun hipster music..the salon was amazing!!!TV, Music, Guitars....yes..guitars!! Irina loves Rock-n-roll .I sat down,and from the back came Irina,I was expecting a Russian girl,and funny enough came a Latina women.She offered me something to drink and We had a consultation,about what I wanted,,and she ..I tell u..Knows her stuff.I did a moisture treatment, and a haircut that day ,2 weeks later, I decided to take new portfolio picture and needed a new look.I Went to see Irina, and I left with a makeover. She did a full head of extensions,with hair that she had pre ordered for a previous client and she did my makeup.I couldn't believe someone holds so much talent!!!!!Thank U IRINA, I am eternally loyal!! U R THE BEST !!!!!!!!! and ps : I will take my vitamins !lol.....Much Sucess to u !!! more

I totally recomend her 9/28/2010

Irina has been doing my hair and color for almost 6 years now. When I started with her I was box dying my hair red!!! I wanted to get rid of the red myself and tried absolutely everything and almost every color, as every woman knows red will show even through black. I begged Irina to strip my hair to get rid of the red and she wouldnt do it!! She truly believes in her work and would not be the one to destroy my hair. Since I knew she was good I took her advice and waited until it grew out and did a cut every six months... Since than I have never trusted anyone else with my hair, honestly if i had gone to another salon they would have taken my money and bleached it not caring about the outcome. Now I let Irina have fun with my hair, we started off with boring long hair and she convinced me to have fun with my look and we did the bob cut.... I absolutely loved it, Irina's cuts and color are truly a work of art... I am always getting stopped and complimented for my color and the perfection of my cut!!!! I am not lying, a hairstylist once told me that the cut was unbelievable LOL that must have been so hard for him to do , but even he noticed how good of a job it was. Irina could move to Orlando and I would take the drive just to get my hair done with her.... I truly recomend her to anyone looking for an amazing hairsytlist that will always give her best work.. I am always speechlesss when I see the outcome of the looks I let her do on me. more

AFFORDABLE, INNOVATIVE & FABULOUS!!! 9/28/2010

I was recommended to Irina's Salon & Spa by a very good friend (who just so happens to have great hair). After briefly meeting Irina and getting to know her down-to-earth style, I decided to turn to her in order to transform my dry & damaged locks into something that resembled healthy hair. Waiting for my appointment, I listened in on her explanation of how & why she was cutting another client's hair in the particular way it had been cut. Her confident and professional ""shop talk"" inspired me to give her creative freedom instead of sticking to being the ""backseat driver"" while getting my haircut. Sensing that I was nervous, Irina assured me that she wasn't ""scissor happy,"" and that she would stick to whatever length I wanted. She chopped about 6 inches of dead, unshaped hair and ""opened up"" my face with very slight layering in the front. NOTE: I do not put any products in my hair or blow-dry, or straighten my hair. Irina specifically cut the layers in such a way that they would naturally shape themselves from being tucked behind my ears when my hair is wet!!! I had a great experience and will definitely be returning to see Irina next month to experiment with some color options! more

Curl up and Dye :) 9/28/2010

Every 5 or 6 months I'd try out a different stylist hoping to be pleasantly surprised but after about 2 years my search for a stylist who was good at color, cuts and blowdrying continued. Until i found Irina that is, not only did she give me an amazing modern cut while keeping my length, but my highlights were now blond instead of gray and my hair ws healthy for the first time in years. She also managed to curl my straight hair in that new wavy hollywood style while other stylists made me look like a poodle. I've been following her for over a year now. Irina is truly a phenomenal stylist. My search is over :) more

The one and only 9/24/2010

Ever since I was introduced to Irina shortly after I moved to Miami, I have not gone to anyone else for my hair. I have followed Irina wherever she went and now that she has her own salon, it's even better! The place is great. I go to her salon with split ends, tired and weary looking and I come out looking like a million bucks. \r \r Irina does my hair for any of my ""special"" outings. Anything from a night out with the hubby to my military balls. I trust her so much and love what she can do with hair that my 17 month old daughter has been to her for haircuts since she was 3 months old!!!\r \r What are you waiting for, make an appointment with her today! more

I had been searching for a professional hairstylist in Miami for years. My search resulted in one disappointment after another. The haircuts I received were out of date and the stylists unprofessional, even at the top ranked salons. I finally lucked out and met Irina when she was working in the Grove....before she became famous on BRAVO : ) She has been incredible and I have only gone to her for my haircuts for several years now. If I am out of town on business, I will make it a point to fly back to Miami for my haircut. I am so happy that she now has her own salon and wish her many decades of continued success! more

I started doing my hair with Irina about a year ago. I' m blond, so my head looked like every other blond's in Miami, which is very very many. The first time i did my hair with Irina, the difference was immediately noticeable. My color was unique & my hair didn't smell or feel like it does after bleach (of chemicals & dry). She uses great products, hence, your hair LOOKS & feels great. I had been highlighted for years with bleach & my hair definitely showed signs of it. It was dry with zero shine & super burned ends. I can say very happily now that I have shine for the first time in years! My color is beautiful & my hair is no longer crunchy lol. Aside from being a great colorist, she's very knowledgeable about every different type of hair texture, color, condition--anything u can imagine. She'll guide you on what types of products would be beneficial based on your specific type/color of hair. She even cuts/advises you on style of hair according to the proportions of your face (ie-don't wear hair parted down the middle if u have a big nose, it only puts more emphasis on it). I moved to miami aout 9 years ago and was looking for a great stylist, as we all know how bad it can be when a haircut or color go the wrong way! I went through several people who really did not have my best interests at heart and didn't really LISTEN to what I wanted. Then I found Irina and all my nightmares were over!! I have been with Irina for the past 8 years and have never once had any complaints! Not one. My sister and a co-worker have also become clients and love Irina as well. First, Irina listens to what I want. Then she takes the time to discuss how to get what I want in a way that will keep my hair healthy and looking great. She takes the time to educate me on why she is doing something and how I should take care of my hair. She is always up to date on all the new methods and ready to discuss any questions you might have. Never do I feel rushed. She is also very versatile and creative but uses that creativity within the boundaries I give her. As an attorney, she works with what would be an acceptable look in my profession. For my sister, the college student, she uses her creativity in another way. Also, Irina is a great person who cares about her clients. She wants to make sure that when I leave I am happy. She often follows up a day or two after my cut or color to make sure I am completely happy. I recommend her to anyone I meet and people that I work with now are her loyal clients as well.
