DO NOT GO HERE. I went to the one on Miller Lane and bought both my engagement ring and later wedding band. I walk in to get sized and look at some engagement rings. She pulls out one that I fell in love with, and mentioned that they were doing 52% off sale that ended that day. So we ended up buying it (sounds like an awesome deal). First of all I found the SAME EXACT RING online for LESS than what I paid for WITH the discount. Secondly, I thought I chipped the stone, so I take it in there. Some newbie looks at the ring, doesn't know what he's talking about, and the manager, without even taking her fat ass off the chair to look at my ring, yells from her position, ""Well we would have to charge them $200 to buff it out, so just clean it."" So the man goes back to clean it, comes out and says the ""chip"" was just some dirt and now it's fixed. I felt the side of my stone with my fingernail and immediately find the chip. I just said thank you and left and went to another jewelers who said it was just a naturally occurring chip where the two facets meet and that nothing was wrong with my stone, and didn't say anything about charging me for it. Again, when I bought my wedding band I got it for ""50%"" off. All they seem to do is double the price and just say they're doing this awesome sale. I go in there today because the bottom of the band on my engagement ring is tapered really thin--it doesn't even look like it's supposed to be that way, it looks like whoever sized it (twice, mind you, because they didn't size it right the first time) just messed up and left it that way. They said that they don't even offer warranties, and that it would be at least $170 to fix. I have had nothing but problems with them, and have never once had good customer service. They just try to bullshit you and charge you for stuff that you don't need. Crappy service, crappy people! Do yourself a favor and go someplace else!!!!!!! more

These people are thieves and get away with it, they bought over $1000 dollars worth of jewelry that was stolen from my house from a 19 yo boy. when I went in with the boy to get it back almost immediately they told me that they had melted it down and it was no long in the store. I asked for my stones that came from the jewelry back then and they informed me that they do not do that. they knew good and well that the jewelry was stolen.........................I called the police and they informed me that all I could do was file a report and press charges to at least file a claim with my ins.................. more

They bought my great grandmothers 5/25/2012

They bought my great grandmothers diamond wedding ring (1 carat) for $30 dollars after it was stolen from my house. When I found out and caught the creep who did it, I marched his butt in there and tried to get it back. Less than 3 hours later. They said it had already been melted down and shipped off. So to recap. They buy stolen property then get rid of the evidence as soon as possible. Horrible business ethics, and crappy management. The ""manager"" aka rat faced a hole, couldn't care less and told me he is fine with the business he runs and has no qualms with the way they do business. He also says he sleeps fine at night. Kharma will get them..... more

BEWARE!!!!!! Do not trust these people!!!!!!! 5/19/2012

Walked into the Miller Ln location to sell some old gold that my wife had to get extra money for my sons Washington DC trip. the lady takes the gold over to the other side of the room and looks at it. She comes back throws a 10$ bill on the table and says she has no gas cards then she says and heres the 100$ for the gold...lol throwing it on the counter ....I told her no way I knew how much the gold weight was and she said it was so many penny weight(a way to stop the person from getting a clear idea what its worth....I told her it was close to 6 grams of gold and gold was going for 1577.30 an ounce. She looked at me and said just a min walked over to the other side of the room came back with another 100$ just like that.......I know they have to be doing this to everyone and think of how many people dont know any better. these people are theives looking to steal from the uninformed....watch out for there lies...think about how they scew over people who need that money to get something to eat or have a roof over there head..I will be reporting them to the Attny General of Ohio this monday,,beware more

Avoid Avoid Avoid 5/3/2012

I went to the store on Miller Lane because they advertised 2 and 3 ct diamonds in the Reach magazine. The discount sounded great. I asked the sales person to show me the diamonds from the ad. She proceeded to show me everything but what was advertised. After a long tme she came out with a nice diamond to make another sales pitch and a diamond that looked like cloudy rock salt or dried glue. This cloudy diamond was the 2 ct version being advertised on sale for approx $4000.00 dollars/ marked down over 50% from their retail price. This ad was a Bait and switch scam. I talked to Heather the manager and also called the Asst Manager at the Farhills store. There was no good response from either. Reading the reviews, I can see this must be how they do business. Avoid them and hopefully they will fail and close down. more

HORRIBLE 3/22/2012

ZERO ZERO ZERO -- do not sell gold to this company. They will take advantage of you. I always wondered how they paid their rent, as you NEVER see a customer shopping in their store. I now know --- please do not shop here! more

Not For Real 12/5/2011

If I could rate this company a zero star rating, I would. Today, I went in to see how much they would really give for my roll of 1964 dimes (90% silver). Their recent ad says they will give 24 X face value. The man walked off to the backroom with my dimes before i could say anything! He came back with $65 dollars for my $120 value in dimes. Crazy--he must have thought I was dumb or something if he thought I was going to fall for his low offer of $65. . I told him that's not what his ad in the paper says. So, he mumbled some words under his breath, and I told him JSGold offered me $110, so he went off again to the Wizard of Oz in the backroom, and he returned with $100 this time (and my dimes). He said that was the most he could offer. I grabbed my dimes and left. This store does 'bait and switch'. They are not ethical, and anyone who says on this queue that they're really great is just another relative or employee. I'm calling the Better Business Bureau on this company, because it is clear to me that there are people in this community who have been scammed and abused by these shysters. more

DONT GO HERE!!!!!! 11/29/2011

1D1OTS Don't go here! Here is why; I go in there 3 weeks ago to see what they would give me for a engagment set. The young guy looks it over comes back and says I'm guessing you paid about $2500 to $3000 for this set. DING DING DING $2800, good job fella you know what your doing! Then Im turned over to a tall skinny lady. After an hour of them haggling with me and literally 5 offers later. (them leaving to the back and coming back) they tell me they will give me $550 for the set. Now I understand thats part of the business , they are just trying to get the best deal as I am. Fine I get it, but I wasn't there to sell it just get a idea what they would be willing to give. The lady told me if I didn't take the offer she couldnt guarantee me that price once I left. Yeah yeah yeah!! I went to 3 other places to get prices and 500 to 550 was what everyone seemed to be willing to give. So I hear an add on the radio saying they will give 10% extra and a 10 dollar gas card if you mention this add. so I thought hmmm good time to go in and take them up on their offer. So back in I go with my soon to be fiance and told a lady what I was there for and she immediately turned me over to a manger. I explain the above to her. She says (LOL) let me go CALL my boss and see if he is still willing to do that. LOL really what did she do go skype him and let him look at the set? Comes back and completely INSULTS me and says we will give you $200. What a slap in the face . I took that as a screw you you liar I don't believe a word you told me, lets start over. I told her absolutely not $550 is the least I'll take. she leaves again(this game is already old from the first time. I mean she looked at the set again and knew exactly what I had comes back and offers $300. COMPLETE INSULT!!!!!!!!!! I picked up my ring and left. SO IF YOU WANT TO BE HAGGLED HALF TO DEATH, WHICH MOST PEOPLE WONT SO THEY WILL TAKE AN UNFAIR OFFER!!!!! AND YOU WOULD LIKE INTERNATIONAL DIAMOND JEWELERS TO PLAY GAMES WITH YOU AND OVER DO IT. IGNORE EVERYTHING YOU SAY, AND OFFER YOU A COMPLETELY UNFAIR PRICE FOR YOUR GOLD OR DIAMONDS. BY ALL MEANS GO THERE AND GOOD LUCK. SORRY GUYS IM NOT SOMEONE WHO WAS DESPERATE TO SELL AND I KNOW WHAT I HAVE. PS You also lost a customer , I came back to you for a reason, I was planning on coming to you to purchase a new wedding set his and hers(i liked the triton rings) within the next few months. And to the owner who the manager called, pick better salesman to manager your store, there is a difference between stupidity and low pressure steadily applied. Sorry so long but you need to know what to expect!!!!! go elsewhere!!!!!!!!!!! more

STAY AWAY! 3/29/2010

These people are awful. They send fliers in the mail and pay for advertisements on the radio. I went to the new location on Miller Lane. The flyer said they paid $1200 for a 1/2 carat diamond. I went in with my .60 diamond and they offered me $60. Yes $60. Needless to say they offered me pennies for everything else I brought in. It is really shameful! Cons: They take advantage of you more

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME! 1/23/2010

This past Christmas my husband went into this store and purchase three diamond jewelry items. On Christmas morning, when opened, two of the three items were defective! One gold bracelet had a clasp that was too small and would not close properly so it fell off when worn. It cost me $45 to take to a reputable jeweler to repair. He also purchased a diamond necklace and it had the same problem. The clasp was too small for the item and would not close securely and the item fell off when first worn. Another $45 repair! This store is a RIP OFF! Not only do they sell substandard items but they do so knowingly! So don't waste your time or your money and get knowingly cheated!! I felt so bad for my husband who was doing such a wonderful and kind thing and got sh*t upon by some real con artists! SO BEWARE!! Pros: NONE! Cons: CHEAP & DECEPTIVE! more
