Excellent service! 11/2/2007

Persondra is amazing! I had a horrible haircut from another salon, got home, burst into tears, and searched online for a salon with good reviews hoping they could fix it. Persondra not only fit me into her schedule, but fixed my cut beautifully. She is sweet and professional. Thanks so much! Highly recommend. more

Outstanding stylist! 11/30/2005

Kristy rocks! She is by far the best stylist I've ever had! My whole experience in this salon was wonderful, except for the smoking in the back room, it ruined the great hair smell I am used to after leaving a salon. Otherwise, great experience, thanks Intaglio...thanks Kristy! more

After moving to the Triangle and being disappointed with my hair,I decided to try yet another salon in the area.I was extremely impressed with my experience,mainly with my stylist who came from Los Angeles.Carrie Smith took the time to explain my hair and make wonderful recommendations,no other stylist on the area has done such.My hair makes me look 10 years younger thanks to the amazing color and cut I received.I praise Carrie and left floating on clouds.For someone who has had a celebrity clientele,she seemed to be the most down to earth and genuine stylist,I now feel like a celebrity myself.The Owner of the salon is amazingly welcoming and very friendly!This salon is a best kept secret! Carrie is the best! 1/27/2005

I have been to about 6 ""color experts"" in the area and no was is more professional than Carrie at Intaglio II salon. She really listens and teaches you about your hair! I came from New York and thought I would never find someone until I finally met Carrie. She truly is a color/cut expert. The Chapel Hill salon is wonderful and has a very professional staff. more

I just visited the salon and loved it. Carrie did my hair and she did a great job. Beautiful job on the highlights. She is a great colorist! My only complaint is that there was a lot of smoking in the salon when I was there. It would be much better if it was a ""No Smoking"" Salon. Pros: inexpensive, great colorist more

as a interior designer in LA whose work is featured regularly on the Style channel, i stay ahead of the curve when it comes to personal image and style. carrie kolek first transformed my look six years ago here in hollywood and with her recent move east, i simply re-route my travel to include NC. the grooming goddess is worth the trip -- only be prepared to turn heads. more

Friendly Staff, very skilled. Wonderful atmosphere, the art on the walls is a unique attribute. This salon is truly a gem in the Triangle. Wonderful Salon 7/23/2003

This salon is on of the best in the park. If you are working in RTP, this should be your hair salon. It is close, and the staff are vfery skilled and friendly. It is a great place to go and relax while getting a great cut. Pros: Skilled Employees, No Sales Presure, Clean more

I went into Intaglio for the first time one year agoi, and have been a regular ever since. My stylist is great, the salon staff are professional and friendly, the salon is neat and very clean. Greetings to all who read this, I have lived in the RDU area for about two years now, and for the first year I search high and low for a good salon similar to what I was used to in San Jose. Finally I found Intaglio Salon through a friend. I think that the praise on this site say it best. Now I cannot speak for all of the stylists but Angus is my stylist, and I could not be happier. He is very pleasant, and makes sure that everyone is taken care of and very comfortable, and his talents are unsurpassed. I have never been hapier in a stylist. If you want a stylist who makes you feel like a family member every time you visit I recomend you visit Intaglio. Pros: Friendly, Talanted, Upscale more

Clumsy Coloring 5/31/2003

I guess I've been lucky, because I haven't had such a bad coloring job in 10 years. The process was quick (one-and-a-half hours) and the stylist was very nice. But I'm used to a lot more time being taken--more precision with the highlighting. This was just too chunky and clumsy. The coloring was not left on long enough or done delicately enough. There were many missing parts and then obvious bleach streaks. It really is just not pretty at all and I feel ugly; I can't wait to get it redone somewhere else. Earl's the MAN 5/21/2003

Since I moved here 7 years ago, I have gone through 10 hair stylists/salons ranging from $10 -$60 for a cut and go broke for coloring. And perms YIKES!! I've been going to Intaglio Salon for about 5 months now and what a blessing. Earl cuts my hair. He is very personable, friendly, and does a great cut on my hair. I have not had a perm in 5 years because of bad experience in this area. I broke down and decided on one more chance. Earl did a GREAT!! job on perming my hair. The natural soft looking loop curls is just amazing. The perm was 2 months ago, I've had one cut since and it still looks as good as though it was done yesterday. Earl's the MAN! I would have to say ater my first experiance with Intaglio that they are as good as they sound. Wonderful atmosphere, people, and very good stylists. I would highly recomend this salon. more
