Helpful and Willing! 6/13/2011

I graduated from IME last April from the LVN program. Since then I've found a very successful job and am really grateful for all the help I have received. The staff is really great and the teachers are always willing to help out whenever you need. I'd definitely recommend this school. more

This school is a joke! 6/9/2011

All the reviews here are fake. People who work here at this school were forced to write a good review because the image of this school around the web is bad. This school is ALL ABOUT THE MONEY. Save yourself the time and stress and go somewhere else with a good passing rate. This is the most unprofessional, shady and unorganized system I have ever experienced. more

Absolutely Worthwhile! 6/7/2011

I really enjoyed my IME experience. I took LVN (Licensed Vocational Nursing) in the fall of 2007 and graduated last year. As soon as I completed my clinical rotation I was offered a job at my externship site. I have 3 children and attended the evening class. I thought all of the professors were always helpful and care about making sure you understand the material. LVN is a difficult course, but if you are dedicated, it is a worthwhile experience. In all honesty, I am happy with my situation and feel more secure with my job than I have in a long time. Cheesy, I know... but I recommend it highly. more

I'm truly satisfied! 5/31/2011

It's simply a GREAT and BEAUTIFUL school!!! I'm truly satisfied! more

This school is amazing. 5/31/2011

The teachers are brilliant: they actually care about the student s grades and feelings. This school is amazing. more

Overall, I would recommend IME and nursing in particular. 5/27/2011

I studied Phlebotomy at IME in 2005 and was hired at Stanford Medical Center following my externship. I later returned to IME in 2007 for the Licensed Vocational Nursing Program. After passing my NCLEX, I am now at a nursing care facility in Cambell. I strongly believe that vocational education is what you make it. It is training that directly correlates to what you will be practicing in your career, so it is important to take advantage of your instructors and the resources they offer. IME is a small school, so instructors and directors are able to spend ample one on one time with their students as they need it. Overall, I would recommend IME and nursing in particular. more

Very much satisfied 5/10/2011

I am enrolled in the dental hygiene program at IME. I am very satisfied with my experience. I have straight As and feel that my courses were challenging. My instructors provided substantial feedback and clearly defined their expectations of students. Overall, I feel that I learned a great deal and am looking forward to finishing by June 2011 more

High quality education 5/3/2011

I am a recent IME graduate and have found the quality of education exceptional. Most of my instructors offer an educational experience that is challenging and interactive. I highly recommend IME to achieve your educational endeavors more

Highly recommend 4/11/2011

Being at IME has provided me when a wonderful experience inside and outside the classroom. I had previously attended a large University and going to a private school was a shock to me. I was overwhelmed with how easy it is to see your instructors, and how much better class participation was. My advisors are responsive to my needs and I highly recommend this school to anyone I meet who is considering a nursing program. more

Excellent 4/5/2011

This, I can only speak about the MLT program, is an excellent program. The communication between faculty and students has been consistent and excellent. For the most part the interactions between students has been good. The academic advisors and financial aid counselors were very responsive throughout my time here. more

Good for serious students 4/3/2011

I am a current student in the dental hygiene program here in IME and would only recommend it to someone who either has experience or extensive medical knowledge. This program is very fast paced. The instructors are extremely knowledgeable. Still IME is a good school for serious students. more

It is Good 3/3/2011

I think IME was overall a good place. It is an intimate setting with only a couple hundred students. Therefore, the instructors and directors can afford to spend ample one on one time with you if you are struggling with any of your work or have questions in general. more

Highly recommended 3/1/2011

I studied phlebotomy at IME. I am originally from the east bay, but found San Jose to be really enjoyable. I would recommend IME for 1.) the high quality of teaching, 2.) job prospects. The externship experience afforded me many chances to do working activities that I actually use in my current position. I tell my friends to go here. more

awesome experience 2/28/2011

I am a student in the Medical Assisting program, and I absolutely love it! I have finally found a career path that I am passionate about. My entire experience here has been awesome, from the admissions process on. My instructors are the best; they are always there for me and answer my questions. I would recommend this school to anyone serious about being the best that they can be. more

I DO recommend CNA 2/28/2011

On my experience, I DO recommend the program and over all the school. The CNA program is well packed and organized, . The text books are up to date, the teachers are nice and helpful. I'm sure you'll fine that IME is the best choice for you, just like I did. :) more

So far so good 2/28/2011

I go to IME right now. I have been going here since Aug. I love my so far experience. I have 2 great teachers that make sure that everyone of their students are on the same page. If there is someone who does not understand or needs a little more they take the time to explain it in full detail and break it into parts that we will remember. I would recommend that other students joint IME. I just like the people and the environment that is there. more

Instructors are the best. 2/28/2011

I am going to the San Jose Campus for the MLT program . The staff show care and concern for their students, and are willing to help with any situations or questions one might have. It is pricey, but the experience and knowledge that is taught is well worth it. And I know a lot of students qualify for financial aid. The instructors are also very knowledgeable with what they know, and will help students with establishing sites for externship. more

I did LVN here and had great time 2/28/2011

I should start by saying that this is where I did my LVN program IME is a great school. I love that it's literally smack in the middle of downtown Sanjose. You don't get that campus life you see on Hallmark movies, but you do get an incredible variety of people - cultures, ages and departments. The school provides the students with real life learning and prepares them for what the working world will be like in their industry. From the professors to the curriculum, they have a great team. more

Great learning experience. 2/28/2011

I was there for the Ultrasound program. It was a great learning experience and friendly atmosphere. The teachers here made it better because of their knowledge and the way they took time in helping out all students in learning the program more

Its incredible 2/8/2011

I think how much money you make after graduation depends on what you go into, not what school you go to. I don't know any post docs making all that much, so you're gonna have to work your ass off to pay back the loans if you don't go into a high salary field. That said, I went into nonprofit and think IME prepared me for a very successful career and an incredible life as an adult with exposure to different fields. more
