will never return 2/2/2011

Not at all happy with the experience of having my daughter's 8th birthday there. We reserved 20 kids, and they told us we'd have a double room and 2 hostesses to help the kids. As it turned out, they overbooked, only gave us a single room (VERY cramped with the kids and parents) and one hostess, but still charged us the 9.50/kid for the extra 10 kids. That extra cost doesn't cover any extra food - they still only give 2 pizzas (which is what they give for 10 kids) - and no outside food allowed - you have to buy their pizza at their marked up prices. So what does that extra 9.50/kid cover, if not the extra room, extra hostess and extra food? Skate rentals and open skate passes - which are only $7 total to anyone who walks in off the street (for under 8 years old, which these kids were). Aside from being over-promised, under-delivered and ripped off with the costs, did the kids have fun? Somewhat - they sold out of the "skater helpers" (extra cost) so kids who had never been skating were left out in the cold (especially since there was only 1 helper), and the ice was EXTREMELY crowded, so it was pretty intimidating for the small ones. I don't skate, but was told that the ice was pretty rough too. But, my daughter enjoyed it, b/c she knows how to skate, and was willing to help her friends, and they basically had a good time. Overall, very unsatisfactory - will never return. Good luck to you, if you go. more

Winter time fun 12/29/2005

This place is large and very fun. We enjoyed it with our friends and were very excited about being on the ice.I watched my son do one circle around and down he went. A large bump on his head. I thought the ice could be in better shape then what it was. With the injury they let me in the office to call the doctor. They were very helpful. I think that they should have the rule to wear a helmet when you skate. What did I know. When I grew up helmets were not even considered for pleasure skating. Parking is fine with a lot of room for the amount of people that visit this facility. more

Multi-rink skating facility 9/22/2005

This place is one of the closer places that you can go to ice skate. Over the years, more and more ice hockey groups have booked the ice up for games. On Friday and Saturday nights, there are a lot of students that flock here. The ice is well maintained, there is a place where you can buy food and take a break from skating. The prices are fairly reasonable during open skate and they always seem to have plenty of rental skates. There are a couple of rinks so that if one is more crowded, you could move to another. The music is pretty good during open skate, too. more
