Had a car towed by IBSEN yesterday. Unfortunately the combo of pouring rain, woman alone, well-to-do Eastside location & luxury vehicle was just too much temptation for the obnoxious driver who missed no opportunity to toss out a disparaging, sexist remark. The ""manager"" Scott, answered complaints about his employee's arrogance, with impotence & inaction rarely observed in those with any authority-leading me to question whether, in fact, he had any. Either way, they along with a female dispatcher with all the compassion of a potted plant, made an already stressful experience a truly memorable day for its sheer aggrevation-which I have a feeling is part of the fun they were after. Hate to give them any satisfaction there, but hope my review spares someone else a similar experience!! more

Thank you Ibsen Towing!!! 10/16/2010

I was recently in a 3 car accident. I was taken away in the aid car and Ibsen towing was called to take my vehicle away. When I called Ibsen towing about my vehicle they were very courteous and helpful. I ended up having to call them multiple times while dealing with the insurance companies and each and every time they were extremely helpful, polite, courteous and patient with me. They answered every question that I had to the best of their knowledge and also offered advice from their experiences in the situation that I was going though. When it came time for me to pick up my vehicle I was greeted with a smile and had several people taking care of me at one time. All of them were very helpful! I thought that my vehicle would just be out in a lot somewhere, but they have a locked up nice garage. I know that my vehicle was kept safe. I have never had to use a tow truck before, but this experience was far better than I could have anticipated it to be. I would DEFINITELY recommend Ibsen towing to any family member or friend!!! Thank you Ibsen towing for your wonderful customer service!!! If I will ever be in need of a tow truck again, they will be my first call! more

NEGLIGENT TOWING, RECKLESSLY DAMAGING TOWED VEHICLE 9/2/2008

On Sunday, Aug. 31 2008, I was driving along 228th Avenue in Sammamish. At the Pine Lake intersection, an IBSEN TOWING truck turned onto 228th in front of me, traveling North. I noticed something was wrong, as the YELLOW XTERRA (WA lic # including the letters WPO, I think) was listing very visibly to the right. The rear of the XTERRA was loaded onto a very small, obviously undersized ""trailer,"" which consisted only of one small axle, two wheels, and a little platform across the axle, about 24 inches wide. The front wheels of the XTERRA were lifted up behind the small tow truck. When I got close enough, I could see that the right rear tire was NOT, in fact, fastened to the little platform of this separate little towing axle as it should have been. The right rear tire was hanging down, OFF the little towing axle, and in fact was being dragged along on the ground, at 40 to 45 mph. We followed the tow truck to get the driver's attention, but he was on the phone, so no he never noticed us signaling him. Then we watched as he sped up the steep hill at the intersection of Inglewood Hill and 228th, and the smoke from the hanging tire (which was obviously not able to turn) began billowing behind the tow truck, which never slowed down. So, we immediately called Ibsen Towing, to let them know what their driver was doing to someone's car. I don't know if they contacted the driver, as we went our way and he sped North on 228th, but if this car was yours, and you have unexplained damage to not only the right rear tire but any resulting mechanical problems from it being dragged at 40 - 60 mph for miles and miles, please contact the Sammamish Police. I will give them my and my husband's contact in formation so we can support your claim against this tow company for the damages which occurred due to their very obvious negligence. Cons: RECKLESSLY CAUSED SERIOUS DAMAGE, NEGLIGENTLY TOWED VEHICLE more

I would just like to say that this place is not one that I would recommend! They charge way too much and then try to take advantage of you with their storage fees! So, in this case the costs far outweigh the benefits. Do yourself a favor and find another tow company! Cons: Too expensive and terrible customer service. more
