Elegance in the Country 2/22/2006

Set in a suburban setting, this restaurant is rated as one of the best in the Pittsburgh area. We have eaten there a few times, for SPECIAL occasions. Prices are on the very expensive side, although the presentation is almost worth it. The building has small unique rooms which presents very intimate surroundings. This is not a place for a quick lunch or dinner. It is one for a long casual non rushed dinner or lunch. It has earned rave reviews in many local papers. Service sometimes almost borders on the slow side. Valet parking is available. The menu changes quite often with the chef's new creations. more

The Hyeholde is a one-of-a-kind restaurant in Corapolis, PA. Nestled deep on a wooded estate, this restaurant looks like a step back in time. The dining rooms are very intimate, with each of the rooms holding around 100 people or less. Attention to detail, valet service, and exceptional wait staff make this restaurant one of the best I've ever been to. The afternoon tea is delicious, but be wary of less than amazing service; my party was the only one enjoying tea one afternoon, and I had to practically wrestle a waitress to get her attention. For dinner, try their set menus; their rare tuna is unbelievable! more
