About Garland Gudger, Jr.
Jake Gudger, MD, graduated from University of Georgia in Athens with a degree in biology and went on to earn his medical degree from Mercer University School of Medicine in Savannah, Georgia. Dr. Gudger completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery at the Greenville Hospital System in Greenville, SC, where he served as Chief Orthopaedic Resident, was an AOA Resident Leadership Forum Recipient, and was awarded the Lilly M & GD Jackson Award for outstanding first year resident.
