My wife and I recently visited the Havana for a weekend getaway and it did not disappoint at all. The service was amazing, and the historic hotel was incredibly romantic. Its tucked into a secluded pocket of downtown, which was away from the busy downtown entertainment district but still easily reachable. Mary and Charlie were extremely attentive and friendly. We really loved starting each evening in the dowstairs Cohiba Bar which was quiet and very comfortable. Kat, the bartender, was great. All in all, it was an incredibly romantic weekend where we felt we had also escaped the usual tourista trappings.
