IP is a great place to stay at the strip if you're there to gamble. The rooms are comfortable, and the location is great. It is right next to O'sheas, a Vegas favorite, and the ...

A Wonderful Honeymoon 9/11/2006

My husband and I went to Las Vegas on our honeymoon. We bought a package deal that was an excellent price. The package included a room for one week, free breakfast buffet every morning, one free dinner at our choice of restaurants, a certain amount of casino chips and complimentary tickets to Legends and the collection of cars. We flew out of Orlando at 7:00 in the evening on the day of our wedding and didn't arrive at McCarran Airport in Las Vegas until early in the morning. Still, the Imperial Palace had a car waiting to take us back to the hotel. Our room was very nice, clean and comfortable although not luxurious like some of the newer hotels. The buffet we had for breakfast each morning (at the Emperor's Buffet) included an amazing variety of delicious foods and we enjoyed all the dinners we ate in the hotel restaurants, too. The Legends in Concert show was extremely entertaining. Our favorite imitation was of Cher. It was impossible to tell the impersonator from the real deal. I enjoyed the car display more than my husband did. It is an amazing collection of antique, collectible, one of a kind and muscle cars all displayed in carpeted, air conditioned rooms. Most, if not all, of the cars are for sale (at outrageous prices). One day we played a slot machine contest offered by the Imperial Palace. Everyone involved had so many minutes to play their machine and the person with the most points won. Neither my husband nor I won, but it was fun. Because the Imperial Palace is centrally located on the Strip, we were able to walk to and enjoy other resorts like Caesar's Palace, Treasure Island and the Aladdin. A few days into our stay, we decided to rent a car and drive up in the mountains outside the city. The concierge at the front desk happily arranged for us to get a rental car and had it delivered to the hotel for us. In fact, all the employees we came in contact with were happy to help us. more

The IP...The Apple of My Eye. 3/23/2006

The Imperial Palace is a small piece of heaven that higher powers placed on Earth just for me. I'm a frequent visitor of "Sin City" and there's no place I'd rather put my dogs up after a long day at the slots. The location is prime, and as I mentioned, the prices are unbeatable!!! I'm involved in a lot of different craft workshops and retreats and we've worked with IP in the past to be a host to our classes. While the financial transactions can get complicated amongst a large group of women...the IP's role in the matter is always easy! Please be warned - apparently someone 'up there' has it in for me. I've recently heard that the IP has been purchased by Harrah's and will soon be demolished. I must be honest - they'll be demolishing my love and loyalty amongst the bricks and mortar. Fairwell, my beloved Las Vegas home. more

Imperial Palace Hotel & Casino 8/5/2005

You can't miss the Imperial Palace Hotel & Casino. It's the only casino with dark blue neon lights on the strip. I haven't been here often, probably only about twice but I had a great time. The Imperial Palace holds a very nice car show yearly which draws in a lot of guests and visitors. As always, their staff is very nice and helpful. The hotel rooms aren't that bad either since they give you a very nice view of the strip. For those of you who haven't visited the Imperial Palace Hotel & Casino yet, give it a try! more

We'll be back 6/29/2005

We loved our stay at the Imperial Palace. We got the deluxe suite and it was huge. Plenty of seating for all the guests we had visiting us in our room. The bath is huge. We had a great time. Only problem is that the elevators can be a little slow. I do recommend calling and asking for room specials, they have some great offers. more
