I have been using hope animal clinic for over 9 years and Dr. Fuller I can say is one of the most excellent Dr. and person I have ever met. I raise English bulldogs and had a liter that had to be hand raised as the mother killed one pup and refused to nurse. I live 48 miles away from the clinic and would go every day to let them check them out .. I did not sleep for 3 weeks and they would let me bring my two pups (the only 2 survived out of 8) to them at 7 and leave them ..come home sleep for bout 5 hrs and return at 630 to pick back up. I cant tell you how much that meant to me physical/mentally/emotionally!!! they are lifesavers. I have called dr., fuller in the middle of the night on a sunday and he always responds to me. I also have a Great Dane whom has just turned one and has seizures. Dr. Fuller has been so awesome with answering my phone calls and questions at whatever time I call the on call phone. don't know how I ever saw any other clinic before,. its 48 miles away but worth every SINGLE MILE!!! they have worked with me on payments as I have a huge file cant say enough bout the great clinic!! so glad I started using them !!! I am so grateful!! more

We cannot sing enough praises to Dr. Fuller and Hope Animal Clinic. Our 8 year old Lab has a rare autoimmune disease and we thought we were going to have to put him down. Dr. Fuller said let's try a few more things and he kept him over the weekend. When I called Monday morning I was so afraid that we were going to have to make that ""dreaded decision"". But, low and behold I was told to come and pick him up that he was greatly improved and the new medicine was working!! Needless to say, our family was thrilled!! Dr. Fuller truly loves what he has been called to do and it shows. He understands that in these hard times it is expensive to take care of a sick pet and he is more than fair in what he charges. Our fur baby will have to be on medicine for the rest of his life and as Dr. Fuller said, his disease may eventually take him but, for now, he is home, feeling good, happy and sleeping at my feet as I type this.....and for that we are so grateful!!! more

First of all let me tell you that this is just not an animal clinic. It is a state of the art emergency room / hospital. When I am saying sate of the art is close to NASA technology what they have in there. I had the privilege to see the inside and it rivals with Auburn veterinarian medicine clinic. But the technical part is not all. The doctors and especially Dr. Fuller are awesome and passionate about their job. I had to call at late hours, odd days and for urgent matters at times and I never had to go some other place due to doctor unavailability or not being helped - rain or shine the doctors or technicians were available. Tell me other clinic that does that in this area, for that matter in Birmingham ! The doctor will take time and explain to you all the issues that your dog may have and won't make you feel like an ignorant .... It absolutely gives me that confidence that my dogs and cats are in good hands there - literally ! I wish you never have to get your dog / cat to a clinic, but if you have to, try this place first - I did not regret it at all ! If in another life I will become a dog, I would like to be brought here. Better than my current provider now ? more

Hope animal clinic is the best I've been to...the staff is very friendly and dr fuller is very kind and caring...we just recently had to take our cat there and once we explained our money situation he didn't even hesitate to take off and considerable amount off of our bill....BEST vet around! more

Hope animal clinic is the very best in the area. I have been to 6 clinics in the area. I have a kennel with 6-10 dogs at a time, and they do their very best for me. They always tell me what they are doing on my pet and do not nickle and dime me. Once, I had forgot to book an appointment for a litter a puppies for tail docking and dew claws... THey understood the mistake and fit me in! Which is great, since you really only have a one day window to have them done. Again, go to this clinic and tell them I sent you, in either case they will treat you like family! more

the whole staff at Hope Animal Clinic are amazing. Dr Fuller and Dr. Hudson go above and beyond each time you step into thier care. Last month we had to our dog Crimson down, We treated him for 9 months of his 11 months of life. We tried evry medication we could. His spirit held out as long as possible,Hhe tried to be happy and up beat but at the end his spirit broke and we knew thw end had come..It broke my heart to let him go but I knew it had to be done. Gr Fuller was the most kind and caaring man at that moment. He assurred me that we had done all could and I was doing the right thing. Today I got a symphay card in thr mail signed by all of them, the entire staff witha note from each...they loved Crimson too....... more

We LOVE LOVE LOVE Dr. Fuller and the staff at Hope Animal Clinic! Our dog loves it there so much, she looks out the window and cries. She gets so excited and runs to the door when we say, ""Let's go see Dr. Fuller!"" (Smart dog!) They have taken such good care of her, especially when she had a bacterial infection. Very knowledgeable and easy to understand, as well as efficient medicinal care. It's the only place I will board my girl! They are building a beautiful new facility to take even better care of the animals. Highly recommend Hope to anyone who loves their animals! more

I love Hope Animal Clinic!! Dr. Fuller and his staff are great! I have been using them for 5 yrs, Dr. Fuller was wonderful with my dog Baylee who had seizures, I could call Dr. Fuller at anytime , even in the middle of the night and he would call back and tell me what meds to give . Now we have 2 new boys and Dr Fuller is great with them too. we all love going to the vet. I highly recommend Hope. more

This place is incredible. Personal service, never forgets, treats both the ""owner"" and the pet. He's incredible. He saved my dogs life. He had a tumor that the ""other vet on Acton"" road wanted to charge $1000 to remove. Dr Fuller did it for $350 which included medications, anesthesia, and aftercare. He's a gift from GOD. I have used many vets all over Hoover and I will travel to take my pets to Dr. Fuller. Their prices are so reasonable and they are so diligent about the care of the animals. The women who work for him really love the animals. I only trust them to board my frenchie. Pros: They know what they are doing more

i picked up 2 puppies off the side of the road and one had been attacked. my vet wouldn't see him unless i paid upfront. he was on deaths door. i couldn't afford god knows how much at the time. someone said to try dr fuller. he was quick to act and worked with me on payments and the cost was so low i thought they had me confused for someone else. he looked me in the eyes and there was no mistaking the compassion he has for aminals and the people that care for them. my puppy ended up having a skull fracture and a split trachea. surgery, board for a week, meds after the stay were less than 200. he saved my dogs life. as long as he is practicing i will never go anywhere else. I reccomend Dr. Fuller to anyone who has pets. He has been wonderful with us including treating our goats when we need one. Although he is a small animal vet his beginnings were in large animals. He is the most amazing, caring vet you will ever meet. Not only is he great with the pets he is great with their owners. He will not talk down to you and treat you like you are stupid for caring for your pet. Whenever we have had to put an animal down he has offered counseling because I usually take it very hard. more

Dr. Fuller and his entire staff are gifts from heaven. My husband and I took our pets to several vets over the years and have never been completely satisfied. We will never take our pets to anyone else! He is warm, caring, and very knowledgable. His staff is as committed to animal care as he is. Everyone we know has been told to take their pets to Dr. Fuller. His office is an hour from our house (there are much closer vets) but we'd drive twice that far (and park a mile away) if we had to! Dr. Fuller and his staff are excellent! He is so gentle and kind the not only the animals but to the owners as well. He is a very patient and understanding man. The office is always clean and NEVER smells like animals or urine. Dr. Fuller is not in the business for the money-he's in the business for the love of all animals.
