Honest Plumber Heating & Air

This was my SECOND use of Honest Plumber BECAUSE, despite other negative reviews, I have had nothing but excellent service from Honest Plumber. I’ve been doing a total renovation of a 14 year old home … kitchen, bath, all major appliances. \r Aside from being a homeowner, I am a Consumer Advocate and journalist who carefully researches businesses BEFORE I contact them or pay a penny. Honest Plumber has an A+ Rating with Better Business Bureau and has been listed by them since 2003. Other plumbing companies I checked has much worse ratings, despite glowing reviews. \r PEOPLE: Keep in mind that MANY negative internet reviews are posted by competitors and many positive ones are posted by services that GET PAID to post reviews. Thus, I frequently give more weight to a BBB Rating vs. consumer reviews that can be posted in seconds by anyone with an email address.\r My FIRST call to Honest Plumber was after I installed a new gas range purchased from IKEA and delivered to me in Henderson. I could not find a gas leak somewhere in my connections or with the new range/oven itself. Called Honest Plumber and Gary arrived at my home in less than an hour. Gary quickly found the leak, fixed it and charged me only $80 when other plumbers had quoted me more than $125 over the phone. \r SECOND call was when I suspected that one of my new toilet installs was leaking. Called Honest Plumber plus 2 others, just to be sure someone would arrive quickly. Bryce from Honest Plumber arrived at same time as another I had called. Showed the toilet situation o both and the 2nd man said he could not do any better than Honest Plumber. I was concerned that the leak might have done damage that might require more than a new wax seal. That’s when Honest Plumber became SUPER Honest Plumber. They have a “sister company” called Quick Response NV that specializes in detecting water, mold, flood and sewage. Quick Response offers fast & free inspections and estimates. Daniel McGhie arrived at my home about 45 minutes later, used a hi-tech device like an xray machine that can see through floors, walls and ceilings. I was advised to aim a fan at the open toilet flange and let it dry out the area for 2 days. All of this extra service and advice cost me NOTHING!\r Bryce could not complete the job so my cost for the second call: $0\r Bottom Line: My entire cost for the toilet repair was $175 which Bryce completed 3 days after his initial visit. For the record, I had contacted my homeowners insurance company and spoke with one of their adjusters by phone. Had I gone the insurance company route, I might have been faced with up to $2690 out-of-pocket cost for the exact same results I got for $175 from Honest Plumber Heating & Air, Inc. Now you know why I trust Honest Plumber and our Better Business Bureau. \r more

Pete and Matt stopped by to fix a leak in my water softener. They told me right away it was dead and not working. I suspected the same and I believed them. I wanted that thing gone. They stopped the leak, removed the water softener, and recommended a future solution with no pressure. They were polite and professional. I will most likely use them for my next water softener install. Great job you guys! more

My parents used this company and they were great! Best part is they kept us posted on when they would be arriving and who it was that would be showing up. We will use them again in the future. more

AC unit wasn't blowing cold air. Honest Plumber tech provided quick service and got the unit up and running again. He did not try to sell us a new unit like another co. did. more

Our toilets wouldn't flush so hubby tried a plunger and then drano and still there was a problem. A plumber showed us with a camera the cause of our grief it was the roots of trees. He showed us a written price to fix the problem, did the work and now toilets flush. Thank you HP for taking care of us. more

First the water heater leaked all over the garage and into the closet. Obviously a new one was needed and then I go to turn on the air to get a good sleep and its not cooling down. A call to honest plumber and 2 techs arrive the very next morning. Both were very clean and professional and not the typical grungy service people one thinks of when thinking plumber. The plumber hauled away the old heater and tidied the garage. I will have the A/C serviced by them early next spring more

Last week was unbearable with the high heat and air conditioner not cooling. Honest Plumber air tech came out at the agreed upon time and had my unit up and cooling within the hour. Very imopressed with the service. more

It is refreshing to find such a company in Las Vegas that operates with integrity. I would definitely recommend honest plumber to anyone who is looking for an honest and affordable plumber. more

A Honest plumber came out to replace my water heater within an hour of calling them. He got the job done quickly, hauled away the leaky heater and cleaned the mess. Nice plumber and was helpful. more

Problems of divorce include contacting service people on my own. Thank you that neighbor lady was able to give me The Honest Plumber as a plumber to call. I was rattled anyway with water all over the garage and leaking into the closet and really needed a plumber I could trust. Andy and his assistant made me feel I was in good hands and took care of the replacement and mess so wonderfully. Best call I have made since contacting an attorney for a divorce. We had a drain problem causing backup into our shower. I called this morning and Honest Plumber was able to come out the same day . The Honest Plumber replaced two water spigots for me 2 years ago. At that time they charged me $250. One of the spogots broke, and I called Honest Plumber back out to replace it (again). They wanted $361.00 dollars to replace a $8 part, and tried to sell me a new $2100 water softener. We called another company, and had the spigot replaced for $65, and it only took 10 min . Do not call Honest Plumbing. more
