I like going to Hometown Buffet for the variety of foods that are on the menu. Unfortunately Hometown Buffet in Burbank is never the same every time I go. One time the floor was not sticky and everywhere i looked, looked clean. The selection and the taste of the food was good. I've been there other days and the floor is dirty and sticky. The icecream machine is all dirty with ice cream all over the floor on the counter along with peanut pieces. It's gross! The food sucks, the steam white rice is like pudding, the corn bread is more like white cake uncooked and the menu selection just stinks. They have food i've never heard or seen before it's like their own creation but it's bad. The food is bland and the cooks or the people that bring the food out is like they don't care when you tell them that something is either over cooked or under cooked. There are other times that i love the menu selection, the food tastes great and everything is good, no people pushing me around to get to the food first... I just like it. I like Hometown Buffet they just need to get more english speaking people, more cleaning done, and a better selection of food... real recipes not made up ones that makes your stomach churn.
