Back when HomeMade Pizza Co. was just a thought scribbled on a napkin, most people had never heard of bake-at-home pizza. But it seemed like a good idea to us: really delicious pizza that bakes up in minutes, fresh from your own oven. What's not to like? So in 1997 we set out to do it right, using all-natural ingredients and a dough recipe rolled out over months of taste testing conducted by the toughest critics on the planet: our friends.
Once we finally opened, those who gave us a try really seemed to connect with HomeMade. And with every new neighborhood came more friends looking for quick, easy, amazing dinners. Along the way, we added fresh salads and mouthwatering desserts? and suddenly, here we are.
We want you to feel good about what you?re eating for dinner. So HomeMade works with the finest purveyors or meats, cheeses and produce to bring you the best all-natural ingredients we can find. In season, we also purchase produce locally. Getting it local means more than getting it fresh?it also means supporting the communities where we live and work. And we tend to think that?s something everyone can agree on.
Today, we have stores in Chicago, Minneapolis, Washington, D.C. and New York and a lot of nice customers who, thankfully, seem to like what we like. And every time we open our doors in a new spot, it reaffirms our original, deceptively simple hunch: making fresh, delicious food at home doesn?t have to be a big deal.
