There's no one around to help. And when you find someone, they are not knowledgeble. We came in to purchase granite countertops, and the person helping us seemed extemely unqualified. We went to Lowes and were quoted $600 less for the exact same slab of granite. Needless to say Home Depot did not get the sale. They need serious help in the customer service area.
One other time, I was staining my deck and called Home Depot to see if they carried the same brand in case I ran out. The confirmed that they carried it. I did run out, and when I got to Home Depot, I found out they did NOT carry my brand I was using. I had to stop my project 80% finished and run all over the city to find what I needed.
Pros: a good back up
