I have gone into Holy Smoke's American Bistro a few times and each time is has been a wonderful experience. They give extra attention to the kids and they have asked me to go back time and time again. The food was great each time we went in. I recommend the Pizza, BBQ dishes and just about everything on the menu. It's also a great place to go after hours with a date or with some friends as it has a great nightlife and is open till 3am with 2 for 1 drinks at happy hour and after 10pm. All this and the price is right too!!!!! more

I was recently at Holy Smokes and had a great time! The food was outstanding and was reasonably priced, My friends and I loved the service although we had just one server almost every person of the staffed seemed to help out with our meal- refilling drinks, taking our plates out of our way and making sure we had everything we needed. The Happy hour was great 2 for 1 at the bar, the bartenders were really personable and fun. We will definitely be returning soon!! more

I went here today and ordered the pulled pork. It actually tasted like canned meat that was microwaved. I was going to suck it up and eat it since I only had a limited amount of time for lunch. The server asked what I thought of the BBQ so I gave him my honest opinion. He offered to bring me something different and I accepted. He never brought any more food but a few minutes later the owner came out and was very rude. He said he was offended that I said his BBQ tasted microwaved and he asked me to leave. There mashed potatoes were also not good, very bland. The baked beans were excellent. My server was also very good and polite.\r \r I went across the parking lot to Anthonys pizza and got a pizza to go. It was very good.\r \r Avoid Holy Smokes at all costs! more

Two for one everything.......enough said.But Ill say more.....Great atmosphere.Love the couches in the smoking patio.Inside outside bar was a great idea.I love the bar tenders and the food is great and moderatly priced.This is my new favorite place to chill. more

The food at holy smokes is fantastic there is such a variety every thing from bbq to italian food.\r i always have a great time when i go there and they have an amazing happy hour with 2-1 everything and a very friendly fun enviroment i love it and will definatly be back more

What a shame... Finally a real BBQ in the Gardens. Hidden in the corner of one of the oldest strip malls on PGA. But priced as if they were located at Downtown at the Gardens. Service average, bar OK, but food quite good. Just not good value. If they correct their pricing issues, they might last. more

Only thing good is the pizza. Bartenders (with the exception of Jeramy) are very rude and inattentive. Have good bar prices but it's not worth being treated poorly. They lost all good employees. more

My family and I like to go out once every week or two, and have been searching for a place that takes pride in their burgers. We found it at Holy Smokes. The burger was monstrous, I think the server said it was 10 ounces. It was juicy and full of flavor. My wife went with the pulled pork tacos and thought they were very good. The bbq is incredible in her words, she loves the smoked flavor. I definately recommend giving this place a try. more

so my girlfriends and i met here for drinks, we heard about the great happy hour at night, not only were the drinks perfect, but so was our meal i had a burger that was hugh, the girls shared a pizza, one of the best they said they ever had..this place is hot, we felt very comfortable sitting at the bar, it was a lot of fun...the outside lounge was like being in south beach very chique...trust me we know what service is , we work at duffy's and love this place..... more

The name American Bistro and Bar doesn't come close to the recognition their BBQ should have. Our group raved on the pulled pork sandwiches and incredible ribs. The drink specials made it possible for us to have a great meal and beverage's at an affordable price. We would recommend this restaurant and we will be back to enjoy more of their atmosphere,menu and great service. more

I've been hearing some great things about this place from co-workers, a group of six of us went there Friday after work. We ate, we drank, we stayed. I can't believe the variety of the menu. We had pizza (outstanding!) one gal had the ribs and raved about them, the burgers are the best! The bar is really neat. there's an outside patio/lounge (for the smokers) and real happy hour prices on the drinks. I think we're going to make this our regular Friday night destination. more
