Let me start by saying the staff is extremely friendly and helpful, however this does not make up for the hotel itself. Rooms are gross, there were ants crawling on the desk and in the bathroom. I tried to move to a quieter room away from the lounge which is in the open indoor garden/pool/lounge area and when I went to check into the other room it was so smokey (although it was labeled nonsmoking). I usually have enjoyable stays at Holiday Inn's, as they usually hold themselves to a higher standard than this one. This was my worst H.I. experience. Not sure if I will trust some website's ratings anymore, this clearly doesn't make the cut. I moved to another hotel that was twice as much $, but well worth the upgrade.
