I stayed at this Hotel this past weekend, I must say I was pleasantly surprised, this hotel was VERY clean, the staff was VERY helpful, the food was VERY delicious. Although the pool is closed for remodeling it didn't even matter because it was cold, and there was not any restaurants within walking distance, everything was great. I booked this hotel for my church group because we had to go to New York for Sunday Morning Service and all we had to do was go right across the GW Bridge and we were there. I must say everybody in my group loved this hotel and we will be staying there again! more

Though I was only able to book a smoking room, it was not as bad as we expected. The room didn't smell like an ashtray, and everything was pretty clean. more

Very clean hotel, Friendly Staff. Short drive over the George Washington Bridge into the city. This is the best hotel if you are going into the city and dont want to spend a lot of money on a hotel. All the other hotels charge about 20-35 dollars parking. The holiday in parking is free of charge. more

My son and I were moving him into an apartment near Columbia University. He'll be in grad school for the next 5 years, so he had the equivalent of a 1 bedroom apartment packed into a moving truck. The Holiday Inn-Fort Lee was convenient as a place to park the truck at night and then to drive across the George Washington bridge to his apartment location. The front desk staff was very helpful with driving directions and suggestions. The room was attractive, clean and comfortable. more

The Holiday Inn GW Bridge-Fort Lee was well located for day trippers into New York City. I had a car so I enjoyed immediate access to the bridge into the city. Free parking was a major plus. My room was clean and well looked after during my weekend stay. The hotel is obviously an older model and the bathroom tub needed an update (it had one of those plastic inserts) however that did not diminish the politeness and efficiency of the staff nor the cleanliness of the room. I would stay there again. more

The Holiday Inn George Washington Bridge proved to be a comfortable and quite convenient place to stay while visiting NY. Although it meant a bus and metro ride approximately 20 minutes into Manhattan, it was much cheaper than staying in New York and also made a peaceful, respite after busy days of sightseeing in the busy city. more

We just spent one night at this hotel while attending a basketball tournament in the Bronx. I cannot say enough about this Holiday Inn. The staff, especially Jonathan and Louisa, took great care of us. We were acknowledged as a priority club member, received a small welcome package and also 10% off dinner or breakfast. The hotel is right over the GW bridge which made it extremely convenient. We did not use the restaurant due to timing issues. The pool area was also very nice and towels were provided. more

I normally stay in Manhatten a couple times a year. I switched to NJ because of tighter finances this year. What a nice surprise it was....the staff was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The room was comfortable and nicely decorated, clean, and larger than what we could have had across the bridge. We ate a light dinner at the hotel restaurant - again very good service by the staff, quick delievery of the meal and while not a 5 star meal, it was tasteful and easy on my budget and was open til 10 pm. It was easy to park (free!!!), easy to locate, and we filled up our gas tank without NY taxes at the gas station across the street. Next morning we got across the George Washington Bridge and into our meeting (Sunday) without a problem. Easy in, easy out. I'll stay here again. more
