A new Holiday Inn Express is being constructed here in Alexandria, La. on MacAuthur Drive. It will be in the same design as all of the newer Holiday Inn Expresses that have opened in the last couple of years.
While I doubt that I will be staying in this particular Holiday Inn Express, I can say that I know it will be a great addition to our City. Alexandria is located in the HEART (dead center) of Louisiana making it an excellent destination for business meetings, conventions, etc. The Holiday Inn Express will be the newest hotel in our area and therefore will most likely attract many overnight guest.
Along with the attractiveness of the Holiday Inn Express facilities, they offer a wonderful continental breakfast which is free for overnight guest. This breakfast includes the now world famous "Holiday Inn Cinnamon Rolls". They are absolutely craveable.
Make sure, if you are coming to Alexandria , to make this Holiday Inn Express your destination for overnight. (It will probably open by year's end).
